Certified vs New Great experience overall. We are really satisfied with our brand new Odyssey. We popped in to look at a ‘concierge’ (dealership used) Odyssey with 5,0 Great experience overall. We are really satisfied with our brand new Odyssey. We popped in to look at a ‘concierge’ (dealership used) Odyssey with 5,000 miles on it. We did all the paperwork with the knowledgeable sales rep and waited. Did I mention we waited? And waited. And waited (for the finance person). That gave us time to consider the differences between a model with 5000 miles vs the financing costs of a brand new model (or we’d have been checked out and on the road) of an exact make/model/color. SIX Hours later we drove away in a brand new Odyssey (with all of five miles on the odometer). I will say we almost didn’t go into the dealership. When we pulled up to the “used” building there were about 6 sales reps standing outside (and as my wife described it) “looking to pounce”. It was very close to making us turn around but I insisted we go in and see what they had - it was our only day off & we were buying a car either here or somewhere else. Every one was very helpful. We liked the new car buiding more also (actual decent coffee, not a pot that had been sitting out all day). And when we finally got to the finance guy, he was very nice and a skilled sales rep (we knew the extended warranty was a $2400 unneeded add on but his charm won us over). We were exhausted at the end of the day but pleased with the level of service and knowledge everyone had and pleased with their professionalism. We’d buy a vehicle from London any day of the week and will recommend him and the dealership to all of our friends. More
