They were unable to deliver on promises made which required my 8 month pregnant wife (who works and takes care of our toddler) to make multiple trips to the dealership because they didn't do what they had stated. We bought a used car from the dealership (Honda Odyssey). The vehicle was overall in okay shape with some scratches outside. The problem was the inside had claw marks going through the door linings from the previous owner's dog. We negotiated to have them fixed by the dealer and agreed to buy the vehicle. We made an agreement for my wife to bring back the vehicle to have it detailed, some touch up paint, and to have the front driver and passenger doors repaired from the claw marks. We were told it would take around 20-30 minutes to detail and do the minor repairs. My pregnant wife and our year and half old went back on the specified day after leaving a message and not having anyone return her call. She waited around around 3 hrs before being told that they could not complete everything. Manager Curtis Simmons then said that he had misunderstood what kind of interior the vehicle had and that contrary to what was discussed in the sales negotiations, he could not patch it up and the interior door panels would have to be replaced. He said the shop could cover some of it but we would have to pay another $150. My wife said that was unacceptable and that I wouldn't agree to it either. At this point she said Simmons gave her a "there there little wifey" type look and told her again to talk it over with her husband and see what I wanted to do. She was told to come back on yet another day (3rd trip after buying the vehicle). Hearing that my wife somehow wasn't capable of making a decision was pretty frustrating to me. My wife is very smart and hard working. I think she was unfairly judged as being incapable of making a decision on her own without her husband there because she is pregnant and was taking care of another child while at the store. I called and left a message for Mr. Simmons explaining that the situation was ridiculous and they could either readjust the cost of the vehicle, or fix it, but I wasn't going to pay for repairs which were supposed to be done earlier. I also let him know that I didn't appreciate the dealership trying to yank my wife around like she didn't have anything better to do than it for hours in a car dealership trying to keep a toddler reasonably happy. Simmons responded that he talked to service and they would take care of it. My wife makes her 3rd trip to the dealership and drops off the van. She picks it up a couple days later (4th trip) and drives off only to look to the passenger side and see that they didn't repair the claw marks on the passenger side. Now we simply don't have time to go back again and deal with a dealership in too big of a hurry to take care of details or be concerned with providing customer service. Simmons is clearly too busy because he agreed to fix it, leading us to purchase the vehicle, before he looked inside at the interior and that he wasn't able to make sure the vehicle had been properly fixed before telling us it was ready to be picked up. The finance department was also very pushy about their in-home extended warranty. It is a bit sad because we purchased our vehicle on our second visit because Patrick, our salesperson, was so friendly with us and was not at all pushy. He seems like a genuinely nice person and I'd be happy to have him show me vehicles again, but I don't think I'd bother dealing with Gwinnett Place Honda again. There are lots of dealerships that can immediately take care of issues and respect their customer's time. More

If I ever need anything, I'll make sure to call and ask for him from now. More

He called the insurance adjuster for us when we failed to get in contact with the proper person due to 'phone busy' to obtain approval for the car rental. He updated us with the supplemental issues after working with the insurance adjuster.. Ariel has been very pleasant and professional in his service. I have confirmed what my friend's recommendation concerning Gwinnett Place Honda Body Shop. More

We worked with Chris Suh & Joseph Shin and they were wonderful, professional, and helpful in every way. I contacted about 15 dealerships before narrowing it down for best price quotes and best customer service and then decided to go to Gwinnett Place in person as the first dealership to visit- and then didn't have to go anywhere else since we drove home our new Honda we bought there that night! Chris & Joseph were super helpful by email as well, always quick to respond and answered all my questions. We live out of state and about 3 hours away and it was well worth the drive and buying from them. We got there later than we had planned and they stayed open late for us to get everything done! When I wanted to take a picture of our family one last time with the old Odyssey that we traded in before we drove off in our new one and realized my phone was out of batteries, Chris offered to take it with his phone and texted it to me. They were very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and go the extra mile at Gwinnett Place Honda for their customers. When someone sees you coming in they hold the door for you (nice added courtesies like that from the staff) The dealership was also incredibly clean including the nice kids room! It was completely a no pressure experience from start to finish, and Albert in finance was awesome as well, even though it was late he answered all of our questions and was happy to help! We definitely had a pleasant experience at Gwinnett Place Honda and I would definitely recommend Chris and Joseph to anyone thinking of getting a new car! More

Nothing compared to the comfort and visibility of the GMC. I got interested in the Honda Pilot and continued searching. I went to Gwinnet Place Honda in the Atlanta area to check a used Pilot I saw on line but saw another I liked better. The staff at that dealership is very professional and not at all high-pressure. Joel Abrams was a delight to work with as well as his manager Rodney Brown. I would definitely recommend them if you are in the market for a car. I also found their service department to be top notch. More
