From the initial handoff from Jim Daley to Dann Long, to the "can do" attitude of Dann, who quickly located the right 2011 Pilot AWD from your Memphis dealership, to the trade in team that evaluated my 2009 Jetta trade in, providing a fair offer, your team worked like a Nascar Pit Crew, completing a complicated transaction in record time (Monday to Wednesday, signed sealed and delivered.). I commend the entire team, including Chad Mills; Marco Van Bastelaar (Marco made the administrative part of the process easy, and demonstrated value in the extended warranty and maintenance programs, which I purchased); Ted; Kathleen, who shared with me the options available for the 2011 Pilot (thanks to her help, I'll be returning for a cargo cover, mat and all weather floor mats); to the service/prep team that worked to ensure the car was in exceptional condition; and all the others behind the scenes for a job well done. I offer an overall rating to GPH of '5' I do his because of the luxury I was extended to deal solely with Reggie for my purchase of a 2011 Pilot. I did encounter 1 other person for a breief description of offered accessories (Thank You Kristian) . Reggie was, to my wife and I the ideal salesperson. He was clear about his objective of making a good arms length deal. We were made to feel welcome. (Thank You Reggie). Regardless of whether I could have possibly gotten a better bargain, what was important to us was the trustworthiness of who we were dealing. We got what we wanted. I encourage any prospective buyer to seek Mr. Reggie Demande. You'll be greeted with courtesy and treated fairly with no punches. I am seriously considering another purchase from this young man for a Honda Ridgeline. We'll see. Purchasing a vehicle is a HARD thing to do. After reading all Post for GPH on this site it's Clear that even some customers can be difficult, but there is NO excuse for a sales representative to EVER be condescending or rude. After dealing with a lot of Mickey Mouse and slow responses from other Atlanta area Honda dealers, GPH stepped up to the plate and provided me exactly what I wanted and did it in such a way that I di responses from other Atlanta area Honda dealers, GPH stepped up to the plate and provided me exactly what I wanted and did it in such a way that I didn't feel like I was getting "taken for a ride" at any point during the process. Tim Kettler, the Internet Sales Manager, was excellent to work with, espeically for someone like me with a busy schedule who doesn't have a lot of time to spend hanging out at the dealership or chatting on the phone trying to decide what to do. He answered 99% of our questions before we ever stepped foot on the lot, and he answered the rest of them once we got there. His knowledge of the vehicle and ability to help us make the deal work without a lot of pressure or "bait and switch" tactics went a long way to making the sale, and the good pricing that GPH gave us certainly helped also. Even when we ran into a few unexpected surprises (our fault, not Tim's), he helped us work through them without a lot of added pain and suffering. Also, Kathleeen Heagerty did a great job of working with us (and around our 3 kids) to make sure we understood all the little details, manuals, etc. and was very accomodating on helping us figure out what accessories we needed, etc. Last but not least, Jamal Gunn made the money side of things work as painlessly as that part of any transaction can be. He was no nonsense, helped us out where he could, and gave us great advice to help us make up our minds about things related to financing, warranties, trade-in payoff, etc. Bottom line: a bang-up job by everyone we worked with, and especially, Tim. Without his patience, understanding, and assistance, we would still be talking to those other guys and probably not getting very far. More
We worked with Tim Kettler to purchase our Honda Odyssey this evening. I communicated with him via email prior to coming to the dealership and he was extremely attentive, quick to respond and helpful in ans this evening. When we arrived on site for our appointment today, he was very pleasant and not pushy or aggressive in any way. He worked a great deal for us - even managing to get us new floor mats for our vehicle. We were welcomed at the door, kept informed through out the process, and the matter in which our business was handled was top notch. Everyone we dealt with acted in a professional and courteous matter. We have already recommend Gwinnet Place Honda and Ernst Louis to our friends and hopefully they will be calling on you soon. Gwinnett Place Honda has gained a lifetime customer and we will defiantly visit them for our next car purchase. More
Tim Kettler was a great, no-pressure salesman from the Internet sales dept. He took our quote from Overstock.com and helped us get a new Odyssey. This was my first car purchase and Tim made sure that is was a great experience. If I know anyone looking to purchase a car, I will definitely refer them to Tim. Robert Turner in financing was also excellent. I appreciate how he was able to show me the best options for my budget. Robert understood all of my financial concerns and took care of them. I do feel like I will always be able to look back at this experience and always know that I was in good hands and I was taken care of. I have purchase my last three cars from Gwinnett Place Honda. I will not purchase any more from them. The service department has gone downhill. First I had purchase a service plan for my 2009 Honda Accord Honda. I will not purchase any more from them. The service department has gone downhill. First I had purchase a service plan for my 2009 Honda Accord. I found out at 12,000 they never rotated my tires. I also had them fix a front carpet issue on my car. They replace the front carpet but they broke a couple of connector under the center seat panel and gave it back. I found that out night that the tray door would not close and took it back the next day to have them correct the damage they did in the install. At 15,000 services they gave it back and said everything was fine. A week later my back breaks was making a loud noise. They said it was noted on my last service the back break needed replacing. I ask why they would after only 15,000 miles and I was told the breaks now pull from the rear as the primary breaks. I felt this was just some BS and three weeks later I get a notice of a settlement by Honda on rear brakes failing premature on Accords and Acura. I went in and ask them about it and they said just go out to a website and file my claim. So I was lied too. Now I notice the leather seats are cracking around the sides. I have only 17,000 miles on the care and had it for only 18 months. They are telling me it is not cover by the warranty. So Gwinnett Place Honda has really gone downhill. I am looking to trade my care in only after 18 months just so I don't have to deal with the lies and poor care and repairs. Gwinnett Place Honda has just lost a long term customer. More
