Tim was very upfront and honest and asked what he could do to earn my business. I was working with two other dealers at the same time, but my first face to face appointment was with Tim at Gwinnett Place Honda. Our situation presented a host of challenges for Tim, but he was able to work through them respectively and come back with a great deal on a car for our daughter. Once onsite and after meeting with Tim, it became very apparent that this was a place where we wanted to do business. The car we purchased literally had just come in on the truck and had not yet been through your PDI process. Tim was able to expedite the PDI process and get the car ready for delivery in a very short timeframe. Our total time on the lot was less than two hours and just very pleased with the buying experience. Additionally, the one part of the buying experience that I hate is dealing with the finance manager. It’s usually a high pressured experience to take additional services, warranties, etc…. Marco was our FM and I have to say he was great. Simply laid out the options and commented on pro’s/con’s and let us make the decision without all the pressure! We did purchase an extended warranty. Overall, these two gentlemen are top notch and the reason we went with Honda! I look forward to continued business in the future. Thanks! More

Excellent experience. I was looking for a combination of a good price, a sales guy I could work with, and a dealer with a good reputation. I found this in Gwinnett Place Honda. Rob was very attentive to a good price, a sales guy I could work with, and a dealer with a good reputation. I found this in Gwinnett Place Honda. Rob was very attentive to my emails early in the process of getting quotes and didn't waste my time trying to call me as I stated that phone calls would not be accepted. 3 of 7 Honda dealers I emailed did try to call which indicated that they were not paying attention and likely would not listen to me later in the deal. All emails to Rob were answered very quickly either by Rob or Kristian. Never a worry about someone not picking up the email or having a day off. We went through a few gyrations trying to find the right color as their website had an error on the inventory, but they went to bat for us. They worked with Honda and got a vehicle in the color I wanted routed to their dealership before the end of the month and the end of the incentives. There were no games. No "junk fees" were put into their price. I had done my homework across more web sites than I care to admit and had a good idea of what this vehicle cost them, what a fair profit margin would be, and what fees I should not expect to pay. These folks never belittled any research or argued any point. The numbers they gave me were exactly as stated and came out to the penny on the out the door price. They were very upfront about the Honda to Dealer marketing support dollars that were available and passed it all on to me in the deal. Other dealers danced around this topic although there are multiple sites that indicated what was available. Manufacturer to Dealer money is between those two parties, but what customer does not expect to get most or all of that? So the bottom line on price was Gwinnett Place Honda had the lowest quote for our new vehicle. The entire process moved quickly once I arrived at the dealership. Everyone took the time to answer any and all questions I had and understood when there were concerns I had. Never once did anyone say "that is how we always do it". Also, I was offered a very fair price for my trade in. I never heard a negative comment about any of the competition, which was rare compared to other dealers I encountered. Very professional. This is a very large, clean, well run dealership. You hear in ads from some dealers how "We are the largest and pass the volume discounts on to our customers." While I did not hear that from these guys, it was obvious and appreciated. While every sale has it's opportunity for additional profit (accessories, extended warranties, etc.), all of these were explained to me at the level I requested or skipped if I indicated I was not interested. They did not feel the need to squeeze every dollar out of me. I was treated very well even in "the most profitable room in the dealership" (aka finance). In conclusion, if Honda wanted to train their dealers on how to service the Internet oriented customer, they would only need to follow Rob and Kristian for a day filming them. These guys set the standard I wish all other dealers followed. More
Went in for a simple oil change cause they are having special on oil change and you get a free car wash. The service rep came out within 10 mins and pulled me into the service bay told me they THINK the special on oil change and you get a free car wash. The service rep came out within 10 mins and pulled me into the service bay told me they THINK the oil drain plug was stripped. They claimed they didn't remove the drain plug bolt and need my permission to remove it so I would be responsible for the replacement of the whole OIL PAN ASSEMBLY if the bolt was stripped. Mind you the car is 2007 Accord and only has 39000 miles. I suspect its a gimmick to make customer pay more. I mean how often do you have your car's oil drain bolt stripped and I have owned numerous make and model from domestic to foreign. I eventually took the car to another Honda dealership and they did replace the drain plug at no charge. Other than that there was no big deal to get the oil change from the other Honda dealership. Avoid or be careful at best dealing with Gwinnett Place Honda service department. They will try to overcharge you anything they can. More

A few weeks ago my Honda CRV was having TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) problem after installed a new set of tire. I took the vehicle to Gwinnett Place Honda trying to correct the problem. A di Pressure Monitoring System) problem after installed a new set of tire. I took the vehicle to Gwinnett Place Honda trying to correct the problem. A disagreement between one of the service adviser and myself on warranty/no warranty issue resulted in my CRV's TPMS problem was not resolved. Fortunately, through this DealerRater platform, I am able to bring my concerns to the attention of Kristian Gjessing and Mark Stromberg of Gwinnett Place Honda and they promptly addressed my concern to my satisfactory. Looking at this site there are many folks has been bashing Honda's dealer's service as unfriendly and not customer focus. But in this case I have to disagreed with them because Gwinnett Place Honda do have a good management team who standby their customer focus and customer oriented pledges and willing to committed their effort to resolve my concerns and in do so improve my experiance with Gwinnett Place Honda. Treating your customer right is important but willing to commit your effort to reverse potentially a bad customer experience into a pleasant one is not only good customer service, but also make good business sense as well. Keep up your good work in Gwinnett Place Honda ! More
I went to Ed Voyles, who did not treat me very well evidently because I wasn't buying that day. That is bad business. I went to Gwinnett Place Honda and Dennis Hamilton very quickly honored and beat evidently because I wasn't buying that day. That is bad business. I went to Gwinnett Place Honda and Dennis Hamilton very quickly honored and beat the price that Ed Voyles had sent me. Easiest transaction ever. Very large difference between these two dealerships. No comparison at all. More
I had not bought a car by myself before and had experienced some problems with my credit because of a divorce. I dreaded going to a dealership because I know how sales people can pounce on you bef experienced some problems with my credit because of a divorce. I dreaded going to a dealership because I know how sales people can pounce on you before you even get out of your car and try to push you into a car that you DON'T want. When I pulled up, Denise Barron greeted me. She didn't pounce on me at all. She waited a little ways away from my car and greeted me with "Welcome to my dealership". She was very polite and asked me if I had come to see a particular sales person. I told her no but I just wanted to look. She smiled and said she understood. Then she told me her name, said she'd give me all the space I needed and explained how the lot was setup. She said she would not be far in case I needed help. Well, she did just that. She kept her distance while I looked. She came over and offered information when ever I stopped a long time at a car. I explained my situation to her and what I had to work with. SHE REALLY LISTENED! Wow, imagine that...a salesperson who really listens! She helped me find a car that I could afford and one I LIKED. But what I really like about Denise is that she took the time to explain the whole car buying process. She demonstrated all the important features on the car and told me how they work and why they were important. When we sat down to iron out the numbers, I was nervous because I had never bought a car without my ex-husband before. It was a little challenging to get the bank to give me a loan, because of my credit and what little money I was working with. Denise never at any time made me feel stupid if there was something that I didn't understand. She made me feel so important and so relaxed. She was so professional and so attentive to my needs. She was not pushy at all. I had my little girl with me and she was getting antsy. Denise even paid attention to her. She bought snacks for my daughter gave her some crayons and asked her to draw a picture of the new car with mommy driving it. Denise made me feel very relaxed and comfortable doing business with her. She never rushed me even though she was paged several times for other customers who came in to see her. If you don't like high pressure salespeople, I recommend that you go to Gwinnett Place Honda and ask for Denise Barron. She won't push you, she's very knowledgeable, she's honest and she will treat you like a person and not a dollar sign. I drove off in my new Accord without any of the anxiety that comes with buying a car. Denise was so professional she called me the next day to make sure I was still excited about my new car. More
Worked out a deal with Kristian, the internet director, prior to arriving to the dealership and there were no surprises. Best car buying experience ever! Would highly recommend anyone to this dealership. prior to arriving to the dealership and there were no surprises. Best car buying experience ever! Would highly recommend anyone to this dealership. He told me the car was available and even beat prices from Mall of GA and Carey Paul who just seemed like they were playing games. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was already upfront so that I could take a quick test drive. The staff even showed me around their impressive facility and showed me how to use their service department. More
