Short Changed I recently purchased a 2015 Camry from GPH and paid CA$H. During the test drive the salesman (who will remain nameless) and I both heard a clicking so I recently purchased a 2015 Camry from GPH and paid CA$H. During the test drive the salesman (who will remain nameless) and I both heard a clicking sound from one of the wheels. I asked if he would have it checked-out so I would know what the problem was, as well as a minor adjustment with the front bumper (it sticks up from under the driver side headlight so the car was in some sort of fender bender), he GUARANTEED me BOTH would be inspected before I picked up the car. I went out of town, came back, brought the cash, signed all of the paperwork (two times cause something happened in the system so the original paperwork was lost), inquired if the inspection was made and was told it was but the salesman was out to confirm what the findings were. Then I was told if I had a problem to BRING the car back. The bumper was still out of place. I drove home and heard the clicking noise even more. I contacted the salesman back: He said the sales manager he works with is on vacation. I asked if there was another one he could speak to: he said he would and would call me back... 48 hours later I had to contact him. He said the other manager said it was out of his hands and there was nothing he could do. The other manager is still on vacation. My response was that I know he was just the salesperson and it may be out if his hands but I was hoping he would help to resolve the problem. His reply: "the techs checked the car and reported nothing. The car was sold as is, under cost by GPH who didn't make any profit on it so they don't owe you anything on repairs". WOW, it is nice to know that Gwinnett Place Honda only cares about making a profit. I'm glad that the salesman I worked with knows that it isn't about customer satisfaction, it is about his paycheck. Thanks Gwinnett Place Honda for opening my eyes to the truth of what and who really counts. I guess in this society my hard earned dollars only count when the register goes cha'ching and puts Gwinnett Place Honda sales person's in the black. I'm very disappointed, unsatisfied, feeling bitter, and now I don't want to give my brother a car that the dealer, by direct word of mouth from their USED CAR SALESMAN, won't stand behind. -3 star rating on the salesman's post sales followup, -1 on the vehicle. And -5 on this experience because I was lied to and left out to crash. Guess I'm left to fix the problem then sell it and buy another car from somewhere that sees me as more than just a profit margin loss. More
