I am posting this review regarding a separate transaction with HBI Auto involving a warranty (service contract) that I paid for as part of a vehicle purchase. The purchase agreement clearly reflects that with HBI Auto involving a warranty (service contract) that I paid for as part of a vehicle purchase. The purchase agreement clearly reflects that I paid approximately $5,000 for this warranty. After later trading that vehicle in, I contacted the warranty company directly to request cancellation and was informed that the contract was in a “pending / not funded” status (unpaid). In other words, despite paying for the warranty, the warranty company confirmed that it was never funded. I followed up with HBI Auto regarding this issue. I have not received any documentation showing that the warranty was ever funded, and I have not received a refund for the warranty that I paid for. I was told by the dealership that the warranty funds had been incorporated into the trade value of the vehicle “to make the deal work.” There was no prior discussion of this, and no documentation provided at the time of the transaction indicating that the warranty funds were being treated this way. I also spoke with the finance manager, who refused to issue a refund for the warranty payment. At this point, I paid approximately $5,000 for a warranty that the warranty company confirmed was never funded, and a refund was completely refused. I am requesting one of the following: Documentation that the warranty was funded and properly canceled, or A refund of the funds paid for the warranty I have documentation supporting these facts, and this issue remains unresolved. Separately, in a different transaction, I purchased a vehicle that was represented as stock but was later found to have an aftermarket Cobb ECU and PDK tune installed. The prior owner confirmed that the Cobb AccessPort was included when the vehicle was traded in. The AccessPort was not provided with the vehicle, leaving no way to manage or remove the tune. I contacted HBI Auto regarding this and received no meaningful assistance. Resolving this will require additional cost through a Porsche dealer to return the vehicle to stock or several thousand dollars to obtain a new Cobb Accessport to marry to the vehicle. More
Absolutely, DO NOT enter into contract or put any deposit on a vehicle here without doing just a little research. The bad reviews are everywhere BBB, reddit, google you name it. I'm guessing the g deposit on a vehicle here without doing just a little research. The bad reviews are everywhere BBB, reddit, google you name it. I'm guessing the good reviews are fake. Thank god for AMEX, or they would have stolen my deposit along with the others before me. I made the mistake of thinking they were as legitimate as they portray themselves to be More

Had 250 more miles on it than the mileage disclosure we signed at purchase. Drove about 500 miles- the vehicle overheated and stalled. Took it to the Porsche Nashville service dept (they were outstanding; see separate review) for a deeper dive. Coolant leaks around the thermostat and breather tube; oil leaking from valve cover gaskets, oil drain plug, timing cover bolts, and vacuum pump; amplifier was corroded; sunroof drains clogged. Carfax showed drains cleared by HBI 1 week prior to purchase. Raised concerns to HBI; no response. Emailed Evan, Niko, Billy, Derek, and John- no response. Calls to the main line and cell line, texts, and emails- no response. The warranty advertised is a basic 3rd party used car warranty. It did cover some of the expense (roughly $6,000), but did not cover the full labor hours from a certified Porsche dealership service facility. Have sought arbitration and will update the review once proceedings are completed. More

Honesty, integrity and common decency are bankrupt at this dealership. After agreeing on price and trade, unforeseen circumstances rapidly deteriorated this agreement that compelled me to revaluate this this dealership. After agreeing on price and trade, unforeseen circumstances rapidly deteriorated this agreement that compelled me to revaluate this contract and review all legal documents. They forged my signature which were notarized not in my presence but by them, in house over 800 miles separating us. . I spoke with Finance manager and we agreed to void contract. Unbeknownst to me, they never refunded the money to the bank. Three Months later I have now been in contact with bank explaining that I never completed sale and that I never secured car that was financed.. They are now aware that HBI auto still has the Porsche I was going to purchase sitting in their dilapidated worn out broken down dealership. The Lack of compliance manger then went ahead and filed a false instrument with the state of NY DMV and secured a title to my Corvette with a forged signature in my name. It was not until the North Carolina Highway Patrol notified me of this deception, that this occurred. Prior to this, the lack of compliant manager Mary Valhos attempted to report my Corvette stolen in the State of NY sending the Police to my residence. Their investigation revealed that HBI auto was conducting business in a fraudulent manner. Their attempted threats to intimate me failed when I pushed back and this incident has now turned into a criminal investigation as the owners are now the subjects of an investigation from NY to North Carolina. This company believes in it's own false narrative. After their attempt to report my car stolen, they then hired a recovery company to seize my car. On the affidavit they falsely identified themselves as a bank and stated that I owed them $43,000......STAY AWAY, BE CAUTIOUS! You would have a better chance of flying the space shuttle than have a smooth experience with this unscrupulous company. More

As the end of the month approached, I was drawn to a dealership that appeared to have great reviews and a fantastic selection of cars. However, I felt pressured to sign a contract and pay a deposit to secure a vehicle. They informed me they couldn't secure a loan for me because “I have almost 400k in auto loans.” 🤣 Fortunately, my credit union promptly handled the financing, and they were set to mail a check after the weekend. The same day I left my deposit, I received a call stating that the dealership sold the car to someone else, claiming I took too long to finalize my deposit. I was waiting to secure financing before I paid any "non-refundable" money. Wouldn’t you do the same? To make matters worse, the CEO contacted me, insisting that I took too long to place my deposit and then claimed the deposit would hold the car for 48 hours—which it clearly did not. He further threatened me by stating he wasn’t obligated to refund my deposit and pressured me to remove my negative reviews, citing a clause in their contract that allegedly prohibited me from doing so. This clause is not only unprofessional, but it is also illegal under The Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA). He gave me just 24 hours to remove all reviews, using my deposit as leverage against me and their questionable sales contract. Beware of such practices if you’re considering doing business with this dealership. More
