I waited 40 years to get an Aston Martin and finally did it. One of the worst experiences. I contacted the dealer being upfront about everything. Looking at another vehicle of the same year with lower mileage at a cheaper price. In full transparency I shared with them the information of the other vehicle, the agreement made with the other dealer on pricing and also gave then a shot at my financing if they could match or beat it the approcal i already have. I expressed in my initial inquiry that due to my work schedule, text message would be preferable and quickest but email was fine as well. I also let them know that upon contacting me yet they continued to call. I took the call when I could. After asking about pricing they insisted on showing me the car via video call before discussing numbers which I played into what they wanted and discussed things. We came to an agreement on pricing and upon review of the purchase order a few fees stuck out and I questioned it. I offered to split the excessive fees which equated to about $650 (subtract $325 amd we were good to go) and also offered to take care of the registration and taxes on my own to avoid things. They said no to both proposals which is fine.i then receive an email showing the contract has been voided with reason being "Customer is dumb". As previously stated, from the very beginning I was transparent and willing to work through things and compromise to make a deal happen and offered solutions to purchase only to truly see what the company truly feels about their customers over $350.
