Both times they did not have th a bait and switch tq tic to get you in the door. I've been there twice and both times it was a waste of time and gas. First, I wasn't told about the vehicle coming from the North. I had a blowout and went to change my tire. First, I was told I had snow tires. Second, when the guys looked under my vehicle. I was told the North. I had a blowout and went to change my tire. First, I was told I had snow tires. Second, when the guys looked under my vehicle. I was told there was lots of rust and he showed me where he ran his hand under the vehicle to where parts of the vehicle was just falling apart. I was never told any of this about the vehicle but for the dealer to put me on the road with the condition of the vehicle, is just wrong. I have tried contacting them several times but keep getting the run around. I was told Lupe would call me back but haven't heard from Mr. Lupe. I will be contacting Capitol One as well because that we I financed the vehicle through. I my even Lawyer up for putting me in a dangerous situation. I would not recommend this car lot to anyone. Dishonest for sure!!!! More
When I first spotted a vehicle listed by HGreg on AutoTrader's website, I was admittedly skeptical since I hadn’t heard of the dealership before. After doing a quick Google search and seeing their so AutoTrader's website, I was admittedly skeptical since I hadn’t heard of the dealership before. After doing a quick Google search and seeing their solid ratings, I scheduled an appointment. The car was ready when I arrived, so we got right to it. Out of every dealership I’ve bought from over the years, this was hands down the fastest transaction I’ve ever experienced...I test drove, completed paperwork, and was out the door in an hour and a half flat. Now, let’s talk about the hiccup. The car developed an issue shortly after purchase. However, from moment one, HGreg went above and beyond to make things right. Their team initially attempted the repair, but when the issue proved tricky to pinpoint, they didn't just throw up their hands...they had the car transported directly to a certified Maserati dealership for a full diagnostic. Because the electrical issue was intermittent, Maserati couldn't replicate it right away. But since the diagnostic had a warranty, HGreg advised me to bring it back if it happened again. Sure enough, the check engine light popped on right as I pulled into Maserati, and they finally caught the glitch. Maserati quoted a hefty repair bill, but guess what HGreg did? They covered the entire cost. My only complaint is that they don't offer loaner cars...ikr sad face. I know people have mixed opinions about the mandatory service contract...and honestly, I wasn't thrilled with the price for what it offered either.. but other than that, I have zero other complaints. Most dealerships consider an AS-IS used car strictly your problem the second you drive off the lot. HGreg didn't do that to me. They made sure my car was running in top shape before handing back the keys, and I’m truly grateful. It took almost a month but I'm still grateful because it wasn't their fault. They tried to fix it but didn't know what the problem was. A huge thank you to Bria in service, my salesman Herson, and especially Chris the service manager along with the store manager. You’ve earned a customer for life. I’ll be back soon to buy my daughter’s car! More
The 1700 dollar "Elite Protection Plan" is not a protection plan nor is it an extended warranty. It essentially covers nothing. The tire road hazard protection plan is not honored by Firestone, Good protection plan nor is it an extended warranty. It essentially covers nothing. The tire road hazard protection plan is not honored by Firestone, Goodyear or any of the national tire outlets. The entire plan is not underwritten by a written statutory agreement that obligates HGreg to honor the terms and stipulations of the "plan". It is nothing more than a dealer "add on" that allows HGreg to advertise a vehicle at a below market price and then recover the margin by charging this Protection plan. They should call it what it is "A dealer ad on" that recovers 21% of the discounted price. You should know going in that you will be paying an exorbitant amount for a plan that is nebulous at best. Example: You can get a 100K mile 5 year Warranty on the entire car through Apex or a host of other nationally recognized warranty companies for 2K and it covers the entire vehicle. The dealership should just be up front with the customer and say "we are going to sell you this vehicle at a markedly reduced price but we're going to require you to pay 1700 dollars as an add on so we can recover the margin we're losing through our discount pricing".. I've read some shoddy, poor and terrible reviews on car dealers before but none as bad as I've seen on HGreg. More
After reading the very positive 5 starts reviews I was excited to deal with HGreg for buying my new car. However, unfortunately my experience with them was less than satisfactory. I went there to check excited to deal with HGreg for buying my new car. However, unfortunately my experience with them was less than satisfactory. I went there to check a Jeep Wrangler. I was handed a check report showing everything was checked and the car is in perfect shape. I had a test drive for 10 minutes, and for my surprise at the end of the test drive the car was over heated and the alarm lamp went off. The representative explained that it was a simple issue to fix and we agreed on the price, with the condition that we would have a second test drive to confirm issue is resolved, and he would come back to us once fixed. A week later, no contact from them. I had to contact them twice to check the progress. The last comment I got from the representative was "I asked the workshop and they gave me a runaround ". Total waste of time, and totally unreliable. More
had a very disappointing experience at HGregg. The manager was extremely rude and came across as dismissive rather than helpful. On top of that, when I asked questions about purchasing a vehicle, The manager was extremely rude and came across as dismissive rather than helpful. On top of that, when I asked questions about purchasing a vehicle, multiple employees seemed unsure of the answers and gave inconsistent information. As a customer making a major purchase, I expected knowledgeable staff and respectful service. Unfortunately, I left feeling frustrated and unconfident in the dealership. I hope they invest more in customer service and better training for their team. More
The only positive thing about this dealership is the salesman that worked with us. I believe his name was Mustafa. Other than that, the majority of the trucks we looked at either did not look as nice as salesman that worked with us. I believe his name was Mustafa. Other than that, the majority of the trucks we looked at either did not look as nice as they did online or had significant rust damage to the frame that was painted over. The pictures they use online must have some kind of filtering or lighting to make the paint damage not look as bad. We did find a truck that we were interested in and attempted to negotiate (like you do at any other dealership). We started with $2500 under asking price, which I know is aggressive for a used vehicle, but the vehicle came back as a previous rental, had unexplained damage, an accident, and they also have a "non-negotiable" protection package. We were prepared to do the usual "back and forth" and probably settle on a higher price than what we offered. The salesperson said they do not negotiate at this dealership, but he can get his manager to look at it. The AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE MANAGER is the real reason I would 1000% not recommend this dealership. I'm not sure if it is because we appear younger, but the manager came over and was extremely aggressive and, honestly, disrespectful. He basically laughed at us for even suggesting that price. He told us we could go to any surrounding dealership, and we won't find a better deal. "Be my guest, please do", he said. He also asked my boyfriend how he even knew he would be approved for financing because he was a "first-time buyer". He was looking to finance simply to put something on his credit because he's bought his other 2 vehicles cash. He actually was planning to put a little over half down in the end, but they wouldn't know that because of the pompous manager. We've purchased 5 vehicles in the past and plan to continue in the future; HOWEVER, the manager completely ruined any chance of a sale or any business from us ever again. Completely uncalled for.
