The only time we can change and improve our processes is when we are aware of a problem. So thank you so taking the time to give us a review. That said, when should we “hold” a vehicle for a customer? The correct answer is, NEVER. We never hold a vehicle unless it has been pre-ordered or already has money down on it. After finding another truck that could be suitable for you, we discover it is already being driven by another customer. When the truck did make it back to the lot it had 800 miles on it. I am sorry you drove 2 hours only to have your expectations dashed, however, we went above and beyond to try to accommodate you while you were here in our dealership going as so far as offering another vehicle to our other customer, only to not be able to meet your unrealistic expectations. We cannot appease anyone to the detriment of the dealership and our employees. So we apologize for any inconvenience that you may have suffered from your drive, but we stand by our sales manager and our inventory. You have however, brought to light a gap in our communications that we will remedy to better serve our customers, thank you. We appreciate you taking time out to review us.
