I have never purchased a used car before. I decided to go this route after being fed up with the Jeep dealer I was a customer of for 15 years. A friend recommended Haims Motors. Not only that, Devin and Charlie at Haims dealership promised me a STI shift knob as it was missing from the car. They ended up sending me a WRX shift knob instead, wiggling there way out of it. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Terrible service and horrible management. I saw a listing online for a 2013 Passat and called to set up a test drive for it and spoke to Christian who confir service and horrible management. I'm halfway to the shop when he calls to tell me it's actually at their Lauderdale Lakes location. So I turn around and go there. A sales rep named Estaban comes out to show me the car, except it's the completely wrong car. After checking his inventory list it says it's at the Hollywood location and calls the office to confirm and speaks to Christian again who says that it was in the back and it'll be out and ready for me when I get there. So I turn around and go BACK to Hollywood. I get there and Christian ISN'T EVEN THERE! Another man, name unknown, comes out and I tell him what happened. He goes into the office to get the keys because the car isn't ready for me like Estaban said it would be. After waiting 20-30 minutes in 95 degree weather he comes out to say the car ISN'T THERE! It was actually in a repair shop in Miami. So I was sent to two locations and the whole time the car wasn't even in the same county and no one had any clue until I asked to see it. When I asked about looking at other cars in my price range he tried to show me two cars that were 8-10 thousand dollars MORE than what I was looking at. I will never go back there for any reason. They made car buying such a bad experience that it put me off completely from buying a car. Side note: I went to Car Max and bought a beautiful car with absolutely no problems or hassle a few hours later and couldn't be more happy with it. More
