The purchasing of my Forester went smoothly, but the service department over the last 4 years has not been as smooth. If you don't ask for it, they won't do it - wash the car after service - then they d service department over the last 4 years has not been as smooth. After my most recent service, the entire back of the car is completely missed - the back window is still completely as dirty as it was when I brought it in. They also changed my battery but did not reset anything or verify everything was working. Had to set the time/date, but also my one-touch windows didn't work - thankful for YouTube for showing me how to get it all back to working properly. If you don't physically have the coupon they don't honor it, then when you get up to pay, they have forgotten to give it to you and they have you walk back to service to get them to apply it, then get back in line to pay - again - ridiculous and a waste of my time. When I schedule the service, no one had any idea how long the typical 42k service lasts, so didn't know if it was one I could wait for or not, frustrating. More
