I purchased a 2002 Chyrsler Sebring on June 18th. I was supposed to get free oil change coupons and a no srings attached card. I am still waiting to receive them. On top of that, I had to replace the interior driver side door handle at my own expense because the 30 day/1,000 mi warranty I got with the car only covered the drive train and engine. Obviously good customer service means nothing. This dealership will not get anymore of my business. More

I'm happy to have met and done business with Mauri Wimbush. I entered the Hall Honda Virginia Beach store and informed the receptionist that I was interested in a vehicle I'd seen on-line; all of the others sales reps were tied up with other customers and Mauri was asked by a receptionist to assist me. I handed him the information I'd written down on the vehicles I was interested in looking at and he immediately went to work. Mauri informed me that the aforementioned vehicles were not on his lot, but that he would take me to them for viewing and possible selection. Ironically, Mauri Wimbush is actually a new sales representative. He nonetheless took me to the Hall Honda Used Car lot and showed me the cars that I'd requested to see. I was not pleased with any of them and was prepared to leave. Mauri then asked me "what was I looking for in a vehicle", I shared my particular needs and he began to help me to seek out a vehicle I would be happy with. I finally settled on a 2009 Honda Odyssey. We went back to the office and it was not until we began the preliminary paperwork that Mauri revealed that he was a NEW car sales rep. He negotiated the best possible price for me and was willing to fore go his commission on the sale if it meant my drive away in the vehicle of my choice. Although I had gone in to look at and settle on a vehicle to purchase on my own; I would still need to finalize the purchase with my husband. My husband and I consider a few more options aside from the 2009 Honda Odyssey Touring; during which time Mauri corresponded with me daily, keeping me up-to-date on any new deals or vehicles with similar options that were more in keeping with my husband and my agreed upon budget. . . . Did I mention Mauri Wimbush is a new car sales rep? Mauri continued to work with us as though we were purchasing a new vehicle and that our satisfaction with the process was important. All though we did not purchase the 2009 Honda Odyssey Touring, but finally settled on its 2010 Town and Country Touring counterpart; Mauri worked tirelessly, up to the point where we made our final decision. Mauri made what can be a very trying experience and transformed it into a most pleasurable one. Although in the end we did not purchase our "new to us" vehicle through Mauri, it most definitely was not due to a lack of effort on his part. Let me start off by saying thank you to Hall Automotive and specifically David Moore. It is hard to find a genuine car dealership and more so a genuine car salesman in the Norfolk/Va Beach area. I am a Sen and specifically David Moore. It is hard to find a genuine car dealership and more so a genuine car salesman in the Norfolk/Va Beach area. I am a Senior Enlisted Sailor and I have seen the scams that car dealerships give to military personnel simply because they can. This is not one of those car dealerships. I am still in awe at the professionalism and dedication David and his team offered me while shopping for the safest car I could find for my new born child. I approached David with my concerns and the type of car I wanted. Unfortunately at the time there were none available at Hall but they promised to keep me in mind if any came into the dealership. They even offered to search around town for me to help look for the car I wanted from another dealership. Then I got the call less than a week later and now I have the exact car I wanted, even down to the color, for a considerable amount less then I was willing to spend. The dealership has even called me numerous times to check up on me to see if I was still happy with my car. If you are in the military and looking for a solid car dealership then Hall automotive is where you should start. There are no other in this town that will even come close to their professionalism and dedication to you as a customer.
