My Miata car battery was low and needed to be replaced-estimate where I had it was about $200 for new and installed. I called Hall Mazda first. Kamal informed me to bring it in where it was checked not only for the battery charge but the alternator etc. and replaced it for free, saving me ...$$! Won't take my Miata anywhere else! You get a call from a polite and respectful young lady, who tells you your salesperson will be ready for you when you arrive at the dealership. Nice. You drive there and notice in the parking lot that YOUR potential car is sitting there, with your name on the windshield, ready for the test drive. Nice touch! But that doesn’t sell you the car. Staff. Polite and congenial staff greet you, followed by the sales manager, who gets to know you and what you want in a car, before referring you off to the salesmen, a retired Naval officer. Test Drive. Conducted in real road conditions, and is every bit of what Car and Driver reports for the top, award-winning Mazdas! The salesman takes you through what the car can do. The Advisor. After addressing numerous questions about the car’s advantages and disadvantages over other cars, depending on your purpose, the salesman acts more like an advisor, who fills you in on all the information, so that YOU can decide what’s best for you. YOU’RE in charge in this car buying experience. Support personnel. You continue to meet all the key personnel, such as the service manager and staff that will be taking care of your car many years to come. When you’re ready to make that decision to buy, the management is consulted to offer the very best price, so you find there are no better prices, anywhere! A Mazda finance officer, who served in the Air Force, later guides you through the process, noting the best finance options, which may not even be resident in the dealership, but your own credit union! You pick up on a precise attention to detail and efficiency at this dealership, reflective in a well-run military and corporate organization. Trust/Team/Leadership. I was very disappointed and upset First I had an appointment at 10:30 to get an oil change and tire rotation... I made the appointment early enough to make my appointment at 2:30 in Su First I had an appointment at 10:30 to get an oil change and tire rotation... I made the appointment early enough to make my appointment at 2:30 in Suffolk... I did not get out of Hall Mazda until 2:20, needless to say I could not make my appointment in Suffolk!!!! That had ruined my whole day!!! Very very disappointed and upset bout this situation!!! What is the point of making an appointment??? I hit one star but truthfully I wouldn’t give it that!! More

Friendly, but disorganized Everyone we talked to was friendly and made promises that sounded good. When it came time to deliver, they kept the big one (price/vehicle). Everything else was disorganized and took longer than promised and they forgot things like the cargo mat (purchased) and filling up the tank (promised). It took an extra day and a half than promised to install the rear bumper guard and clean the car (which wasn’t great in the end) because they didn’t realize that they still had the car, then couldn’t find the keys - they even called us to make an appointment not realizing they had the car. The delay caused us to have to delay travel plans. In the end, we got the car, but the service at Cavalier was superior when we bought there 4 yrs ago (and they include a year of maintenance). More
