Friendly BUT Everything was great and I love my new car, the people were very friendly, however.. when I asked if they had my car in additional colors I was told n Everything was great and I love my new car, the people were very friendly, however.. when I asked if they had my car in additional colors I was told no, only to find out a few days later they had several different colors at the same price point. I mentioned it and the manager said he would ask the sales person tomorrow but maybe she just didn't know. I'm sorry but this is a major purchase and I would like to see all of my options. I also was told we would get a military discount. We may or may not have gotten it, I have no idea. I tried asking about it and was told by one person they would call me back (never heard back) and told by someone else she had to do some checking and let me know.. still didn't hear back. Needless to say I'm slightly frustrated. Just wish someone answered my question and for such a big purchase I was able to have all of my options/colors in front of me since we will have this vehicle for many years. More

It is ran by a man who has no idea how to run a dealership and they can't keep employees because they abuse them to no end. They lie to your face when you are purchasing a car and then try to sell you extra stuff that is technically already on the car. GAP insurance should be $699, but if you don't by anything else other than GAP they charge you more all so the "finance manager" can make a profit. They change everyone's titles around constantly and management is awful. You won't even get your tag until you get a ticket for an expired temporary tag. They have no clue what they are doing in that place or the Nissan store they are affiliated with. More

She was definitely the most accurate and encouraging sales consultant that I had ever dealt with.. She assured me that she would do her best to get me into one of there vehicles... I can truly say that I felt a little discouraged but God stepped in right on time and thanks to Katrina and Toyota of Elizabeth City, I am now a proud owner of a 2017 Toyota Camry. My Son was also approved at the same time for his brand new Camry...Two Blessings at once!!..I will never forget my experience of buying a new car for the first time, and I would recommend anyone there... I will be back! I have to be honest I was not looking forward to buying a new car. When I bought my wife's Toyota 2 years ago I made the mistake of going to a dealer I have to be honest I was not looking forward to buying a new car. When I bought my wife's Toyota 2 years ago I made the mistake of going to a dealership in Virginia. It took 5 hours to complete the purchase. So when it came time to buy my Tundra, we decided to give Toyota of Elizabeth City a try. My wife was nervous because of the poor reviews she had read online, but we figured we would give them a chance, and I am sure glad we did. From the moment we arrived on the lot to the time we drove off in my new Tundra took us less than 2 hours. Maurice was great! He worked with us to find the Tundra I wanted. He then worked with me to get to a price I was comfortable with (Curly helped out with this as well). Byron took care of all the paper work in a timely manner, explaining everything in detail for us. All three of these gentlemen were outstanding to work with. I must admit this is the first time I have driven away from a dealership feeling satisfied about my purchase. I will definitely be returning to Toyota of Elizabeth City for my next car purchase. More

Lied too Was told if I brought in part of my downpayment today 2/13/2017 and sign a promisary note for the rest I could do the deal today. Go in after I get off 4 hours later after I was told this and I was told we could do the paperwork and take my $1,000 but wouldn't be able to drive away with the car until I brought the rest! What changed in 4 hours is what I asked the salesperson (he was fanastic) and he said the sales manager would be out to speak to me. I waited 2 hours before the finance manager walks out and tells me some xx reason about the salesperson being on the ropes for the money. (I've sold cars this is was straight up lie and I knew it). I simply wanted to know why I was told one thing in person by a sales manager and another thing 4 hours later. The finance manager didn't sit down and talk to me. She stood over me and looked down on me when she fed me that lie. She was very condescending and even if the wheels of my current car rolls off you will not get my business. Better places in Elizabeth City to buy new vehicles and there is other Toyota Dealers that are only 30 minutes to drive too. More
