Headlight Out I came in without an appointment, after realizing one of my headlights was out, service staff were very polite and happy to assist. I was sure it was I came in without an appointment, after realizing one of my headlights was out, service staff were very polite and happy to assist. I was sure it was only going to be a matter of having the headlight bulb replaced, but I was told I'd likely also need a diagnostic check for the cost of $65 in addition to whatever charges would be necessary for parts and labor. I rejected this idea politely and after about 30 minutes it was then determined (without the diagnostic check) that it was just a bulb replacement but it would cost $160. When I balked heartily at the price, the customer service agent quickly returned to her desk and then came back with a reduced price of $114...claiming that the bumper and a tire would have to be removed and the task would take at least an hour. I was thoroughly offended at that point that a company would have taken $225 from me, for something so simple. I have an older car, non-fancy lights, nothing special... realize companies need to make money, but this was a 90% profit for the dealership - I ended up finding the bulb for $21 (including the tax) and put it in myself in 15 minutes...imagine if this had been a truly costly issue like my brakes...ridiculous!! More

Oil leak fix Guys knew what they were doing...Cost was reasonable.
