I Have been going to Partyka for many years. My mom bought 2 cars there in the 1960s. I am on my 3rd lease from them, I have had a few problems , but they were always resolved promptly. On my la My mom bought 2 cars there in the 1960s. I am on my 3rd lease from them, I have had a few problems , but they were always resolved promptly. On my last service I was told of an oil leak. So they put in the leak detection fluid in. And was told to bring back after 1000 miles. Which was done today. Dropped off at 930am. At 1130 called to see how it was going. Car wasnt even on lift yet. They told me it was next in line. I have been making appointments for the last 9 years ,the same way and they always do prompt service. Spoke to "Service manager", he said it was a drop off, whatever that means. I had an 930 appointment and I figured it would be looked at at least by 10. Asked to speak to General Manager, but instead was speaking to Gary the service manager. We both lost are temper, Gary has no managerial skills, people skills or service skills. He was more focused on the previous survey I had given. When my brake pads grew 2 millimeters in six months. They were 5 millimeters in August and seven millimeter's last service. We also hashed out some other discrepancies from my last service. Finally spoke to Zerman the General Manager. We spoke for awhile and came to an amicable conclusion, It was obvious to me that he was proficient at his occupation and very knowledgeable. I will be turning in this lease in November. I will give Partyka a chance on my next lease. Hopefully Gary finds a more suitable occupation for himself. More

Worked with someone named Matt over email. Explained that I was ready to put a deposit down on a CX-30. He said they don't do quotes over email and I HAD to come down to the dealership. Whatever so I did. We emailed back and forth over 10 times about the car I wanted and I show up and they said it was sold days agon. Nobody mentioned it and I wasted my entire day and previous 2 weeks. Absolute worst. Run, don't walk away. More

I had to wait a few months, but locking in the price as he adviced paid off for me. The management was supportive and Lori in Finance also great. This is my 4th Mazda and based on this experience- thanks to Gene Footman it won’t be my last. More
(I didn't realized my review would get reformatted, so here's a summary of my previous review) I call Hamden Mazda on 08-AUG and tell them I want to do an early termination of a 3-year lease on a Mazda here's a summary of my previous review) I call Hamden Mazda on 08-AUG and tell them I want to do an early termination of a 3-year lease on a Mazda 3 and buy the car. He says to come in and go over the numbers, and that I may just walk out with a check from them. At Hamden Mazda, I say I called earlier about ending my lease early on a Mazda 3. The guy reviews the Lease agreement and tells me I still owe the remaining 13 lease payments. I tell him I know that; I want to know if the dealership was interested in buying the car once I owned it. He says “Regardless, you still owe the outstanding lease amount. How do you want to pay?” He takes my credit card and leaves. He returns with a receipt and papers for me to sign. He asks for my driver’s license and the car registration, then leaves with both. He returns, and says “OK, we’re all done” and that it’s their car now. I ask (loudly) “Do you think I would pay you over $3,000 out of my own pocket, then just abandon a car with a $21,000 trade-in value”? He says “Well, that’s what you just did”. In an even louder voice, I say that they’re trying to steal my car from me. He says he just did what I asked him to do. I walk away to find the manager. I find the manager. He says they did what I asked. I show him the Lease agreement with the residual value of $13,000. I say I want to pay the remaining lease plus the residual value so I own the car, then I want to know if Hamden Mazda wants to buy the car from me. He says the residual value on the lease is only good after the lease is done in 2023. It’s much higher if I terminate the lease today. And anyway, most dealers would not buy a car like that. I make them cancel the credit card payment, and give my key back, and I leave. I call Mazda Financing about terminating the lease early. She says I just need to pay the remaining 12 lease payments (not 13 like Hamden Mazda said) plus the residual value stated in the Lease agreement. Hamden Mazda tried to fraudulently obtain my car. Had an amazing experience at this place (just purchased a 2021 Mazda3). I am out of state and was able to negotiate the terms before making the 2 hour drive. They worked with me on the price and negotiated t 2021 Mazda3). I am out of state and was able to negotiate the terms before making the 2 hour drive. They worked with me on the price and negotiated the fees so we reached a happy medium. I worked with Zermin and Steve, both were straightforward, professional, responsive, and helpful. After visiting several dealership in NJ and dealing with the stereotypically sleazy and pushy sales staff, Hamden was a breath of fresh air. Honestly confused about the negative reviews on here, I would recommend this place to friends and family. More

The car deal they offered was ridiculously expensive, but chopped up in lots of vaguely identifiable fees. Tax and fees added $4,964 to the cost of the car. Additionally, they would not give me a copy of their offer, although I could take a picture. I’d guess the 2018 CX-5 cost less new then it was now being offered used to me. My experience at Hamden Mazda made me think of the research that shows women pay more for cars than do men. I KNOW the market is tight for used cars but my car had been totaled and I had to deal with the current market. In the world of used cars, I would not recommend any dealership and this one seemed no worse than the others. More
I recently purchased a brand new CX crossover vehicle. They lowballed me on my trade-in, and would not budge on the MSRP price. In light of that, I told them they needed to give me some sort of discount because the monthly payments were going to be a bit high. I felt that the least they could do, because I did not make an attempt to haggle on my MSRP or the true worth of my trade-in, was give me a discount with the delivery charge. The sales manager agreed that he would not charge me for delivery, but as I was finishing up the paperwork with the finance manager, I wanted to make sure I was not being charged Total Loss Protection (an optional charge). She told me that TLP was in the final sale and part of the “deal”. I told her it was optional and that I’d never asked for TLP. She asked me if that meant no deal, and I said yes, I would not buy the car if TLP was in the final sale because its optional and I never asked for it. She went to talk to the sales manager, came back into her office, and proceeded to tell me that the sales manager would let it go. If not illegal, this action was highly immoral and deceptive. Had I not inquired about TLP, I would have been charged for it, and not known until it was too late. A few days later, while reviewing my receipts from the purchase, I noticed that they charged me the maximum delivery charge of $699, despite having agreed to not charge me for it. When I texted my salesperson regarding this discrepancy, he told me “I’m sorry that it had to end like this, but I have no control over what the finance manager and sales manager put in the final contract”. I would not recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership to anybody. More
