The service we received here was terrible and I would not recommend that anyone take their car here. Recently our transmission stopped working on our Mazda Tribute and my husband called around to several pl recommend that anyone take their car here. Recently our transmission stopped working on our Mazda Tribute and my husband called around to several places to decide where we should have it towed. This happened on a Monday and we were scheduled to leave the following day for a family vacation. Due to the circumstances we were willing to pay a little bit more to have the car fixed more quickly. He called Partyka and was told that they probably had the parts needed to fix the car and if not they would be in by the next morning and the car could be fixed by Tuesday evening. So we had the car towed there around 9 am. Finally, at 5 pm they guy called to let us know that the transmission needed to be replaced and gave us a quote of just under $4000. My husband asked if that number would cover everything, parts, labor, tax, etc and he was told it would. We gave them the go ahead to order the transmission, which we were told would be in the next morning. Unlike what he originally told us, he said the car would be done Wednesday afternoon at the latest. Late Tuesday afternoon we got a call saying that the transmission hadn’t come in, but the old transmission was out and the new one would be in Thursday morning. We were very disappointed that now rather than the original estimate of Tuesday evening we were looking at Thursday evening, but since the transmission was already out of the car there wasn’t really anything we could do. On Thursday evening just before closing they finally called us to say that the car would not be finished until the next morning. Apparently it was a big job because the mechanic had to take out our old transmission in addition to putting the new one in. At this point I began to get angry, not only were they wasting our time, but they clearly lied when they said the old transmission was out two days before. Friday morning around 10 my husband called to find out if the car was finished. He was told it should be done around lunchtime. So he had someone from his work drop him off at your dealership at 1 pm. He had to wait an additional 3 ½ hours for the car to finally be finished. In addition to waiting for so long he was also overcharged. We were told that due to the extreme delay in finishing the car we would get $300-400 off the original quote. This amount was taken off of the original quote we were given, but then we were charged tax on top of it, which we had been told was included in the original quote. As a result, all of their incompetence and delays saved us about $15-20. Not really worth it considering they had now wasted more than half of our vacation time and it was a $4000 purchase. More
