PROBLEMS? Tire rotations? I took my car (Mazda CX3) in for a servicing on 23 Feb 2019. When the servicing was completed, I was told that the service technician could not rotate I took my car (Mazda CX3) in for a servicing on 23 Feb 2019. When the servicing was completed, I was told that the service technician could not rotate me automobile tires because they were aftermarket tires. I found this to be extremely weird in that the tires were rotated during all the other services. I paid my bill and returned home. Once home; I compared the receipt with all the other servicing receipts. The other receipts stated the tires were rotated. The price for all the servicing appointment were the same. The servicing on 23 Feb 2019 was priced the same as the other servicing with the exception that the itemized prices were different. The 23 Feb servicing showed a labor charge of $5.00 instead of $15.00 like the others. ARE MY TIRES BEING ROTATED DURING MY SERVICE VISIT OR NOT? YES OR NO! More
Broken door panel, crooked steering wheel I brought my truck in over a month ago for 2 minor warranty concerns. Defective leather steering wheel and a defective seatbelt retractor. Both parts I brought my truck in over a month ago for 2 minor warranty concerns. Defective leather steering wheel and a defective seatbelt retractor. Both parts were installed. The tech broke the door panel which was pointed out to me by Nick. He said it was on order and would call me as soon as it came in. NO CALL YET!!! When the new steering wheel was installed the tech put it on crooked. 2for2. This person is clearly not qualified to repair/replace parts. I’m still waiting to hear back about my door and I haven’t addressed the steering wheel problem. Am I supposed to reach out to the service department after they screwed up the work and told me they would call when new part arrived. I was reminded that I have 2 free oil changes by the dealership. Are you kidding? Filter or drain plug would probably not get put on. No thanks I’ll take my business to McDermott. More
