That was before I was informed four (4) days later that I needed a cabin air filer which the service department found excessively dirty. Not only this, but they are also saying on the Multi Inspection Checklist that I DEFERRED having this install. I want you to read my e-mail I sent to a Mr. Mike Fanning, General Manager of Hamilton Honda informing him in full detail of my experience I had on September 15, 2021 with his service department. From day one (1) going back to April of 2019 when I first leased my CR-V Touring SUV, all I’ve been having is trails & tribulations with this dealership. Besides this, I even sent him an early e-mail regarding the Service Satisfaction Survey that I have been receiving numerous requests to take and especially from him. It took me a month to schedule this appointment and yet there were other inconsistencies I encountered. Very little windshield washer fluid in the dispenser that I had to add myself. My lights were changed from auto to non-auto and the headlights were set to brights. Were do they come off I recommended my friends & family. No way!! You just can’t fabricate what I just wrote to you. I guess Surveys are more important that giving the consumer the right quality Service. Dear Mr. Fanning ~ This is a follow up to my recent e-mail regarding your Service Satisfaction Survey which I received numerous requests and have answered it. In addition there were other inconsistencies I encountered which I mentioned to you. However, I am attaching for your inspection after having my CR-V Touring service on September 15, 2021 (after waiting a month) that I now need to replace the cabin air filter which your service department found excessively dirty. Let me elaborate on this findings which should have been address on the day my vehicle was service, not four (4) days later. When Mr. Semichan, Service Adviser informed my wife & me that our SUV was ready after having it service, he specifically told both of us that on the MULTI INSPECTION CHECKLIST which he was holding, that there was NO issues at all found and he himself said the same. I just check this list that wasp personally handed to me after having an oil change and rotation of tires. On page 4 it is recommended that I replace this filter? Than why was this at the time of maintenance not brought to my attention either by your Certified Technician or Service Adviser? In fact it says I DEFERRED this when I was not even advised of such a problem! This is erroneously a false statement and does not make any sense not to facilitate to have this done. The number one (1) thing is people like me do bring our cars into service, so that down the road we DO NOT have any malfunctions which will be very costly to deal with. This way what ever needed to be done that day would complete the repair of my vehicle. This is totally unacceptable and after giving your dealership a five (5) star rating, I should be compensated not for only of the time frame I waited, but now I have to come back to have this filter install. You did not at all meet my “Expectations which is your top priority”. This is in no way how to do business with the buying consumer.
