Horrendous experience this time but THANK GOD for Michael Fanning, General Manager of Hamilton Honda, who was brave enough to correct the egregious wrongs done by sales staff Kerri Villani and Sales Manager Fanning, General Manager of Hamilton Honda, who was brave enough to correct the egregious wrongs done by sales staff Kerri Villani and Sales Manager Ira Doubert. Since our favorite and most trusted contact at Hamilton Honda (Phil Florentino) retired back in July, 2020, I was forced to choose another sales person. Phil was/is the reason for our 11 year tenure at Hamilton Honda, so down to earth and honest, and easy to work with. Keri actually tried to give me paperwork for a different car than the one I was leasing. Despite my objections she insisted I go through with signing paperwork for a Beige/tan car when in reality I was leasing a blue/gray car. Her excuses were endless. The temporary registration said Beige too and she tried to tell me the DMV wouldn’t mind! The sales manager, Ira Doubert who probably orchestrated this, has been shady from day one. Back in 2017 he screwed up another deal I was making at Hamilton Honda. Ira does things behind the scenes and is very sneaky and the things he’s does border on illegal. If he is your sales manager, run! When I caught their mistake, and brought it to the attention of the general manager, Michael Fanning, he was gracious enough to not only correct the paperwork and make it the appropriate, accurate information, but he also knocked money off my deal in a show of good faith, but it also implied that his people were clearly wrong. He was so very apologetic. If you have to go to Hamilton Honda, don’t use Kerri Villani as a sales person and if Ira is involved, call the police first! I don’t know how those two still have a job there. Hamilton Honda should rethink that whole thing. Bring back Phil Florentino! More
