Unethical Inflation of invoice Reason for service: Driver side window was stuck half open/closed. Could not be manually raised and could no longer hear motor when using controls. Reason for service: Driver side window was stuck half open/closed. Could not be manually raised and could no longer hear motor when using controls. Additional services performed were an installation of after-market hitch. Parts were ordered and when they arrived service date was scheduled. 2 parts were ordered because the dealer indicated that they did not know which part they would need without opening the inside of the door to diagnose. Estimates for the expected work were provided. “High 3’s for the window and $180 for the hitch” The dealer kindly offered to apply a coupon for savings. At the time work was being completed and the costs of repair were increasing the dealer NEVER reached out to communicate the costs were going to be 1/3rd (33%) higher than the original estimate. The work was completely without prior approval and then I was expected to pay the higher amount. Explanations for the increased invoice included: both parts were needed (though I was never informed of the actual diagnosis at the time the opened the door) and the amount of time it took to install the hitch went from 1 hour to 3 hours???!!!!! What I don’t understand is why didn’t someone reach out to me and explain that they were having difficulties installing the hitch and ask if I wanted to proceed with a tripling cost BEFORE they completed the work? If I had known it was going to cost me 3x more to have it installed I would not have agreed. Also, I don’t understand why I wasn’t informed of the window diagnosis at the time they discovered it was both parts that needed to be replaced when initially it was uncertain if it was one OR the other? More

Great service Went in for an oil change. I asked about an estimate to remove a scrape that was in the front of the car and they gave me a very reasonable quote and Went in for an oil change. It was finished within that timeframe and they did a beautiful job. Would never have know the damage had been there. More
