I was recommended by Tyler who works in the service department about the great deals that were going on. When he brought me in the first gentleman, Nando was great! He immediately got right to what I wanted. I brought my husband back that night and later worked with James Filley. He was so down to earth and didn't push us into a specific truck. James showed us the first truck we were interested in and it didn't work. He didn't even hesitate to show us the second one and he said "I have a truck I think you will love." Throughout this time, James was very knowledgeable in answering our questions while we test drove the truck and looking it over. The fact that I had to find not only a car but a car dealership with whom I wanted to spend my money at. I have been looking for months and became disheartened because I did not think I would find something that I would like. CherylAnn was beyond wonderful. I was so apprehensive about my credit being pulled without me being there but CherylAnn and Steve stayed with me on the phone while it was done and I actually went to sleep ok that night because I felt like I was in good hands. Best Ford dealer in "Southeastern" Connecticut I was looking to buy a new small/crossover SUV and tried a variety of Ford dealers in Southeastern Connecticut. I dealt primarily with James Filley, I was looking to buy a new small/crossover SUV and tried a variety of Ford dealers in Southeastern Connecticut. I dealt primarily with James Filley, but had good experiences dealing with other members of the Hammonasset team as well. You may think Hammonasset is a long way for someone living in Southeastern CT... and, well, it is! I had various problems with other Ford dealers before settling on Hammonasset: When I looked at Hammonasset's inventory online it was current, and when I posted asking for additional info I was contacted in under an hour - at other Ford dealers I had trouble getting anyone to return my call. I am an X-plan qualified customer, but didn't have to worry about getting the right deal since Hammonasset's prices beat other dealers in the area and (for this model, anyway) the X-plan price. Other Ford dealers in the area seemed mystified by X-Plan and made it seem like my problem when they couldn't reproduce or match the X-Plan quotes on the Ford website. I had a great experience at Hammonasset and plan to look there first if I am looking for another Ford vehicle. It's a drive for me but it was worth it. More
