Toyota owners go to a dealer instead of outside workshops due to perception what authorised dealers can be trusted and they will only do what's best for the vehicle owner. Was offered discretionary items when i had gone in for a toyota recommended basic service instead of focusing on items that demanded attention and I only noted them when I came home but was not mentioned to me while I was there ( ex recommended differential oil change). With limited resources, it's common sense that a vehicle owner would rather spend on important issues rather than discretionary things. While I was there I asked for service specials and was told there were none even though they're clearly available on the website and this was being dishonest to a trusting customer who looked up to hanlees as being a good dealership. Am disappointed that it is becoming increasingly difficult to trust anyone. More
I was really taken aback by the service reps deliverance of new tire charges. She did not even try to fit me into a budget tire just told me that it would cost me over 850 for new tires.
