Last August 2022, I purchased a 2021 Subaru Forester Premium from CarMax, and at the same time purchased a MaxCare service contract 60 months / 75,000 miles. I recently called the CareMax service c Premium from CarMax, and at the same time purchased a MaxCare service contract 60 months / 75,000 miles. I recently called the CareMax service center for a 24 month/24,000 maintenance was informed that the service center is unable to take in vehicles for service because of staff shortage, the sold vehicles snd incoming vehiclles leaves no time to service outside vehicles. I sent a letter to CarMax concern the above, and was told CareMax, and CarMax are two separate entities, and CarMax has nothing to with CareMax. I was then referred to Hansel Subaru, and scheduled a the 24 month/24,000 maintenance service, and tire rotation an balance. The time to service the Subaru was 1 1/2 hour, but waited 2:20 min. When, I returned home, and looked over the invoice, there was charge for re-balancing. I sent and e-mail to service advisor Mr. Petty asking if the tires had been re-balanced or not. I received the 32 inspection point and did not see anything about re-balancing at all. Since I didn't get an answer about re-balancing, I went to a tire shop for service. I would like to know if Hansel Subaru can honor the service contact by CareMax? Thank You! Clifford A. Gehrt More
