Horrible people skills, I did a Requested Survey from them and gave them a poor rating and they dropped me as a Customer after many years of doing Business with them. This was the first time I've given t them and gave them a poor rating and they dropped me as a Customer after many years of doing Business with them. This was the first time I've given them a less than stellar rating. It just shows me they have thin skin and can't handle the Truth and they aren't willing to try and correct any problems with Customers. It's not a problem for me to spend my money elsewhere after spending Thousands of Dollars at your Place. I'm sure some other Business will enjoy my money as you all have for many years. The best part is, my Rated Survey is no where to be found now! More
Brought my F350 in for an obvious diesel leak. Made an appointment a week in advance. Dropped off truck in the morning, made several calls during the day to check on the truck, got no response. Finally at 4:20 pm a lady called and said I did not have a fuel leak but needed a new Hydra-Boost. When I arrived, I had the service manager put the truck on the rack and he immediately saw the fuel leak. The leak was coming from the HFCM drain valve. He said Ford did not offer just the drain valve and I had to buy the entire water separator. ($200) I took my truck, got online and found the Motorcraft drain valve. (Ford part# 8C3Z-9A214-B) ($60) I replaced the valve and o-rings myself and fixed the leak. The Hydra-Boost is not leaking enough to replace at this point, but I will monitor it. The service manager, Craig, was very apologetic and even gave me a discount on the diagnostic charge. He did all he could to smooth over the situation. It concerns me that someone without mechanical knowledge could be very mislead and have work done and charges applied without justification. To summarize, the customer service and the knowledge of the mechanics on the shop side and the quick lane side has deteriorated in the past few years. In my opinion, step one would be have a person dedicated to calling customers back, answering questions, letting them know when the vehicle is ready or what was found and actually needs repair. I have been using Harbin Ford and having service done there since 2003 and made that choice because of the service manager at that time (Geoff Vosen). Hopefully Harbin can rectify this and improve customer service and knowledge so people feel like they can trust the information they receive from the dealership so they can make good decisions concerning their vehicles.
