I cannot say that I ever thought I would have purchased four cars in four years. But as we all know, life happens. Four years ago, I purchased a Hyundai Sonata from this dealership. The transaction was so smooth and straight forward, I walked away dumbfounded wondering when reality would strike me with the confirmation that in the process of buying the vehicle someone pulled a fast one. Much to my surprise that day never came. From that transaction, I eventually purchased two other cars from other dealers that I have nothing positive to say regarding my transaction with them. Hence, in desiring to rid myself of a car that had brought me nothing but issues, I turned to what I knew best...Harbor Hyundai. As it had been some years since my last purchase, I was determined to give them another try since my last two car purchases left much to be desired. Since I live quite a distance away from the dealership, majority of my discussion with Doug was conducted by email and telephone. Doug was very attentive to my questions and at no time did I feel as if he was pulling a fast one over on me for the sake of merely selling me a car. With majority of the numbers worked out, I expressed to Doug that I would mull over the decision and get back to him the following day. At no time did Doug pressure me or force me into making a decision. Doug simply allowed the transaction to speak for itself. It made sense and I would be a fool to pass up such a great deal. So, I emailed Doug the following day and reconfirmed my understanding. Doug was extremely patient and confirmed everything he had indicated the day before and added any missing information that was not asked for prior. With information in hand, I informed Doug I was on my way. Upon arriving at the dealership, Doug had all my information and paperwork ready to go. After completing the initial application, we left and took a test spin in the car I had my eyes set on. Even with a minor reservation, the test drive solidified my decision. We returned to the lot and before Doug could even ask, I quickly informed him that "we needed to do this!" With that, I sat before Eric, proceeded to sign my name on form after form. When it was all said and done, I left with a quality used car all the while leaving my previous car in their hands. Before I left, I informed Doug that the only reason I decided to revisit this dealership was the phenomenal service I received four years prior. Today, I can say with certainty that I will always look to buy my cars from Harbor Hyundai... Thank you Doug for being true and honest!!! More
