He was also thorough in explaining how to use all the new little gadgets in my car. I had my last Hyundai for over 15 years and though it was the "spruced up" version with all the extras...it was 15 years ago when a power sunroof was about as fancy as cars got. LOL...Plus, he came in on his day off and answered my call on his next day off as well! You can't ask for anything more. I would definitely recommend Hyundai and this dealership in particular to anyone who is in the market for a new car. More
Lies, Lies, and More Lies I called harbor Hyundai after finding an internet ad for a Hyundai Elanrtra Sport for my mother, who needed a pre-owned car. The car is fine. The deal I called harbor Hyundai after finding an internet ad for a Hyundai Elanrtra Sport for my mother, who needed a pre-owned car. The car is fine. The deal didn't go so well. What transpired is as follows. In mid August we purchased this car, by the way, and I've given them more than two months to resolve problems, but nobody seems to give any attention to it and overall, it was a bad experience, because these people are not engaging in ethical business practices, neither is Hyundai USA. I called and spoke with someone about the car that I found online. he gave me further information over the phone and of course, since I dealt with him first, I wanted him to receive the commission if we were going to purchase the car, which we did that evening. I called back to confirm, though, and another salesperson stated that there is no such a person who works there when I asked for the original person who I spoke with. I know this trick, as I've worked in car sales before and it wasn't for me, as there is known to be a lot of backstabbing taking place at many dealerships of this same genre, so another salesperson can obtain the commission. This didn't sit right, but we liked the car and we went, anyway, eventually purchasing it from salesperson Brian, who isn't on this list. The transaction went smooth, we traded in our car and they worked with us with price. The car was purchased in the late evening and it was already dark, and we realized the next day that there were no car mats given with the car, but they sent those out a week later. The big problem here is as follows. We purchased an extended warranty, bumper to bumper, but were never given a receipt for it. It's charged in the contract, but it doesn't state the details of what is covered and dates covered. Harbor Hyundai said that evening that Hyundai USA sends out this information a month later. A month had passed and I called harbor Hyundai, who insisted to call Hyundai USA. So I called Hyundai USA and they said absolutely not, that it's the dealership's responsibility to send out such information, and then they said to try Safeco, who are the one's who contract with Hyundai USA to perform warranty repairs, and so I contacted them, and they put it all back on Hyundai USA. So, everybody is lying and everybody doesn't want to take responsibility, and we have no warranty, so we're contacting the State of California at this point. Harbor Hyundai begged us for a review on this website, so here it is - An honest one. Maybe it's the norm in business for many today to lie and not take responsibility and breach their contract, but it doesn't make it right and ethical in any way, just because they follow this norm of many businesses. Also, there was to be a card sent out for roadside assistance, again with everybody stating to call the other one, also never received. This is a big problem and we will pursue you for your sham, because it IS the right thing to do and others should know of what you're doing to consumers and breaching your contract and fiduciary duties. My mother is 81 year old woman and we shouldn't have to spend time stressing about all this over the phone on hold several times, just to have all of you lie to us. I will tell ALL people about you, your sham of a company, because it's the truth and it IS the right thing to do because it IS the truth, which you hide from. More

I told Ruben that finance was taken care of and he had the car out front and ready by the time I got there. Paperwork was quick and I could not have been more satisfied. When it is time to buy another Hyundai, I will be sure to give Ruben and Harbor a call. More

Service with a smile I travel from Hollywood to Long Beach for my service even though there is a dealership in my area...WHY...because I like the way I feel when I get the I travel from Hollywood to Long Beach for my service even though there is a dealership in my area...WHY...because I like the way I feel when I get there. I feel I am welcome when I arrive, they expect me, Scott remembers me and my car from my last visit. The service work is done in the shortest possible time, the wait is not long but it is pleasent...good coffee. My car goes in dirty ...comes out clean. I be back. More

We'd still buy here even if we moved out of state. We always refer friends and family to Harbor because we know they will be treated right and get a fair price and a great car. More
