I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE PURCHASING FROM HARBOR HYUNDAI! IT WAS MY FIRST TIME PURCHASING A BRAND NEW VEHICLE AND GOING IN I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE AN EXPERIENCE WHERE YOU WOULD HAVE TO GO IN WITH MYGUARD U IT WAS MY FIRST TIME PURCHASING A BRAND NEW VEHICLE AND GOING IN I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE AN EXPERIENCE WHERE YOU WOULD HAVE TO GO IN WITH MYGUARD UP AND REAL DEFENSIVE. TOTALLY NOT HOW IT WENT DOWN!! DOUG VAN DYCK WAS AN AWESOME GUY TO WORK WITH, HE WAS VERY HELPFUL, KNOWLEDGABLE, AND GENUINELY CONCERNED WITH GETTING THE BEST PRICE FOR ME AND WANTING ME TO BE HAPPY WITH MY DECISION. I INITALLY WENT IN WITH MY FAMILY ENTOURAGE OF 4 (NOT INCLUDING MYSELF) AND DOUG WAS COMPLETELY OK WITH ANSWERING ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. AFTER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS AND TEST DRIVE, I STILL WAS NOT READY TO MAKE A FINAL DECISION AS I WANTED TO COVER ALL BASES WITH OTHER VEHICLES I WAS CONSIDERING AS WELL. I MADE DOUG AWARE OF WHAT I WAS THINKING AND HIM KNOWING I WAS GOING TO WALK OUT WITHOUT PURCHASING DID NOT TURN HIM INTO SOME CRAZY SALESPERSON EITHER, ON THE OTHER HAND HE WAS SUPPORTIVE AND SEEMED TO CARE THAT I WAS DOING WHAT WAS BEST FOR ME. AT THIS POINT NOT ONLY DID THE OTHER VEHICLES I WAS CONSIDERING HAVE TO MEASURE UP TO THE STANDARDS OF THE SANTA FE SPORT TURBO THAT I FELL IN LOVE WITH, BUT THE OTHER SALES PEOPLE DEFINATELY HAD BIG SHOES TO FILL SINCE DOUG VAN DYCK SET THE STANDARD SUPER HIGH. NEEDLESS TO SAY I VISITED CERRITOS AUTO SQUARE, BOTH TOYOTA AND HONDA, BUT DID NOT FEEL EXCITED ABOUT IT LIKE I FELT ABOUT THE SANTA FE SPORT TURBO. I CALLED DOUG VAN DYCK THAT SAME EVENING AND MADE MY APPOINTMENT TO MEET WITH HIM THE NEXT DAY. THE PURCHASING EXPERIENCE WAS QUICK AND EFFORTLESS. IT SEEMED LIKE I WAS IN AND OUT AND STILL DOUG WAS VERY THOROUGH WITH EVERYTHING. IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE, MY SISTER WHO DROVE ME TO THE APPOINTMENT WAS ALSO VERY IMPRESSED WITH DOUG AND SAID THAT WHEN SHE IS READY TO BUY HER HUYNDAI, SHE WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH DOUG. SO ITS BEEN A MONTH SINCE I PURCHASED MY SANTA FE SPORT AND I COULDN'T BE ANY HAPPIER. I WENT IN THIS PAST WEEKEND FOR MY COMPLIMENTARY "PIT STOP" INSPECTION WHERE HARBOR HYUNDAI HAS CUSTOMERS BRING IN THEIR VEHICLE FOR AN INSPECTION, FLUID TOP OFF, AND CAR WASH. WALKING IN TO THE HYUNDAI STORE I WAS IMMEDIATELY GREETED BY DOUG WHO CAME OUT TO SAY HI AND ASKED HOW EVERYTHING WAS GOING WITH MY NEW SANTA FE. GOING BACK FOR THE PIT STOP AND SEEING HOW DOUG WAS STILL SUPER FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING SHOWS THAT HE IS A GENUINE PERSON AND IS THE WAY HE IS WITH PEOPLE BECAUSE HE IS A GOOD GUY AND NOT JUST A GOOD SALESPERSON. HARBOR HYUNDAI STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO VISIT HARBOR HYUNDAI WHEN THEY ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A NEW VEHICLE! More

Purchased my Hyundai here, it was the best price for the car I wanted in a 250-mile radius. I service my car here also, and they have yet to try to push any sort of unnecessary service on me. Scott greets me with my name, shakes my hand, and listens to what I have to say. These are good folks, doing good, old fashioned good work. I had not decided on whether to purchase an Elantra or Sonata and ended up purchasing the Sonata because it had all of the features that I wanted. Mike was patient and helpful while I compared and evaluated the two different models. The car that I purchased is my second Sonata, but my first experience with Harbor Hundai. I spent 5 mos. researching vehicle makes & finally decided the right one for me would be the Sonata GLS base model without extra alarms or packages. Then I started researching dealerships. After some failed attempts to get the right price & the exact base model, I went on the internet & printed out a guaranteed low price voucher. I visited the dealership in Sherman Oaks area that was to accept this low price voucher. Spent 4 hrs there haggling on the price. The vehicle had unnecessary alarms that I did not want to pay for. Went home empty handed. Searched the web for the best & honest Hyundai dealership in the LA area. Found Harbor Hyundai, rated #1 (there's a good reason for that.) I emailed them, Leonard the internet manager replied immediately with an excellent low price no one else was willing to offer. No gimmicks like unnecessary $1885 worth of alarms like the other dealer. Jumped in my car & drove back down to the LA area for the 2nd day in a row. Leonard & Dave explained all paperwork precisely...no pricing surprises. Leonard had my new Sonata washed, gased up and even stored my old car for the week. He even sent me home for the 4 hr LA traffic drive back north with a cold soda in my new ride. I pulled out of there never feeling ripped off. It was such an amazing feeling...my search was over. When I went back for my old car a week later, I took them a case of wine for the staff since I'm up in northern Santa Barbara wine country. I was lucky to have found Harbor Hyundai on the internet. : ) More

Jake was fantastic and very accommodating. My service appointment was scheduled for 4pm on a Friday night. I was caught in traffic and called to let him know I was running late. I didn't show up until 4:30, but he said it was no problem. He took care of me with a smile and I never felt like it was an imposition for them to service the car.
