Harbor Hyundai

While searching online at Edmunds.com for a 2012 Genesis, I found a dealership that had (32) 5-Star customer ratings. I was not familiar with Harbor Hyundai and questioned, why should I drive 40 miles to a d I found a dealership that had (32) 5-Star customer ratings. I was not familiar with Harbor Hyundai and questioned, why should I drive 40 miles to a dealership when there at least a dozen closer to me. Still, the (32) 5-Star ratings intrigued me. Early on a Sunday morning I requested an online quote for a 2012 Genesis from Harbor Hyundai and by 10:30 am,received an email quote from Mike Casalegno stating MSRP, available incentives & rebates, dealer discounts and listing of options. It was very straight forward and professional....a business letter presentation. Late Sunday afternoon we decided to make the 40 mile drive to meet Mike Casalegno. Both my wife and I were so impressed with the manner in which Mike dealt with us. He is very personable yet professional, has a nice sense of humor, and is easy to talk with; furthermore, he listens to and shows respect for his clients. Mike's approach isn't high-pressure; yet he conveys a professional and positive manner. He knows his line of vehicles and knows what he is doing. He was willing to answer all our questions and take us on as many test drives as necessary to give us a feeling for the various car models. When it was time to discuss finances,he was prepared and knowledgeable about current Hyundai incentives & rebates,as well as special financing. Mike mentioned several dealer add-on packages, but we never felt pressured; he merely let us know they were available and allowed us to make a decision. All figures were clearly presented and explained, allowing us to see how the net sales price was calculated. The dealership gave us a very fair KBB trade-in value for our car, which we appreciated. Upon agreement of final sales price & terms, we met with Jim K for signing of contract documents. The entire process was so refreshing,ie none of the typical dealership "mind games & sales pitches". We only wanted a fair deal and believe that was achieved at Harbor Hyundai. Mike was with us past 9:00 pm, at least 2 hrs past closing, explaining the major features of our new Genesis. We are very pleased with Mike Casalegno's personal service, and can highly recommend him to anyone interested in a new or pre-owned vehicle. We are impressed with Mike's professionalism and feel he is a great representative for Harbor Hundai. In addition to our positive recommendation of Mike, we must also give credit to the dealership management as well, for it is obvious that customer care & satisfaction is important to them. Also, a thank you to Dave Nething & Jim Keenan for making us feel welcome. Now I know why Harbor Hyundai had (32) 5-Star ratings....update that number to 33! More
