My husband and I went to purchase a new Genesis. I was forcing him to trade in his 2004 G35 Infiniti coupe because it was such an uncomfortable ride. We travel alot on weekends to various Indian casinos and occasional trips to Vegas and found ourselves taking my 2002 VW Beetle on these roadtrips because not only was the G35 uncomfortable but it had no trunk room. And so onto the Genesis. I'd done a lot of research on cars in its class and for the amenities it offers and it's low price compared to the Mercedes, BMW, Cadillac, Acura etc it just blew away the competition. That being said my husband loved his G35 and was reluctant to let it go, to say the least. Well we love the Genesis. And after 2 months of driving it we love it even more. He even thanked me a few days ago because he now loves the Genesis even more than the Infiniti. It's a real headturner. Now onto the guys at Harbor Hyundai. WOW!They are as awesome as the other reviewers have said!! My husband is a VERY Picky person. Very demanding. But the guys at Harbor Hyundai accommodated him in all of his requests. They never lost patience or indicated that he was being difficult in any way. They gave us a good deal on a great car and have always been wecoming and helpful. We made several trips to the dealership while debating whether or not to buy the car and they never pressured us in any way. THEY wanted us to make a decision on a car that would make US happy, not themselves. In the end it was their low key demeanors and superior customer service that kept us coming back. Thanks to Bill Ortiz, Rick in Finance and Doug Van Dyck. You guys are Awesome!!! More
I emailed several dealerships in the LA area with exact descriptions of the car I wanted, and asked them to reply. He was clear and concise with his quote, and never pressured me, never tried to pad the offer with add-ons. In fact, he followed up his first car selection with a second one, stating that the first had a remote entry while the second did not, in case I wanted to save that extra expense. His first quote was simple, just the offer in dollars plus the tax and registration fees. When asked, he then emailed me a complete out-the-door price, which turned out to be almost exactly what I finally paid. The price he offered was excellent, right in the ball park without having to haggle, and better than the offers from other dealers. I live about 45 minutes from the dealership and could only take one particular day to drive down and see the car. Doug was very accommodating, coming in earlier than he had planned in order to meet me there. Once I was there, he was patient and clear with everything about the car, both my inspection and the test drive. The car turned out to be exactly as he had specified. After i decided to buy, Doug was thorough and clear in going through the items in the final invoice and subsequent selling price. He then walked me through the set-up for the Bluetooth, saving me time and effort. Once the price was set, Doug handed me over to the finance manager, Jim, who went through all the paperwork clearly, making the process quick and easy. Because I didn't need financing, the closing was even quicker and simpler. Finally, I asked whether the car could be driven to my house so I wouldn't need to make another trip. Doug said, no problem and no charge, he would bring it himself and go through everything about the car with me once he got to my place. Great service! More

Your program would not permit me to submit my comments. Briefly, I will try again. I took my car in for an oil/lube/filter. Jake Bumacod was the representative from Harbor Automotive in Long Beach. I mentioned I have had an ongoing noise, which seemed to come from the wheels. I told him I had brought it back to the dealer, but they claimed they heard nothing, even when I was sitting in the car for the test drive and heard the sound. They turned a deaf ear. Jake said he would check it out...we then took it for a test drive and he did hear the noise (a whining sound that happened each time I slowed down and came to a stop). It seems the dealership who sold me the car should have resurfaced the brakes and apparently that didn't happen. Jake spoke with the dealership and they agreed to have the work done at no cost to me. From the time I walked into Harbor Automotive, I was treated with respect, courtesy, and the representative (Jake), as Jake's Supervisor and another Manager, all worked together to see that my automotive needs were met.
