At no time have our purchase agreements stated free oil changes. We do however have had our sticker program that we have had for over 10 years and it has been an off the charts success. Over the course of the life of the harbornissan.com sticker program, we have changed it multiple times based on what’s best for most of our customers. Recently, Nissan has begun recommending longer intervals between oil changes and a higher grade of oil ( which was an addition charge under our old program ). Because of these changes, customers require oil changes much less often, and also receive much less benefit from the harbornissan.com sticker program. Based on these changes and customer feedback, we adjusted the program so we still charge a discounted rate for oil changes and also offer deep savings for almost all parts and service work. On average, customers will save much more money with the new discounts for keeping the Harbor Nissan sticker on their car and we hope you are one of them. The signed purchase agreement MOST CERTAINLY did include a printed statement at the bottom saying "includes free oil changes for life." To say otherwise is a flat out lie. I would upload it here if that were an option .As I stated, no one contacted me about the end of the program, more time between oil changes, or upgraded oil . . .heard NOTHING from you even after contacting Harbor 3 times asking for information. If you think I am going to waste my time trying to contact Harbor once again you are dreaming. This is not about the money, this is about business ethics, and Harbor breaching a contract (You signed, I signed, money was exchanged, promises made in writing--that's a contract. Period.) I'm now taking my car to Naples Nissan. Its costing me more, but they don't lie to me, so I'll happily pay it. And I'm telling everyone I know how you stiffed me.

Hello, Mary. First I would like to address the oil change program. It was never a contract but rather a promotion that was offered through our service department for many years. We modified that program this summer so that we now offer discounts on all service work instead of just oil changes, so now our customers have the opportunity to save much more than the oil changes would allow. Second, I do want to contest your 1 star review of me because I was not in the office. The only time I am not in the office between 4 and 5 pm is on weekends or when my family needs me, which is what I am assuming happened here. My son had an appointment so I had to leave early. I am truly sorry that you feel me putting my family in front of my office hours is unacceptable. However, I also never received notification that you were wanting to speak to me after the fact so I could not reach out to you.
