I was very disappointed by the significant increase in the cost of an oil change compared to my previous visit, particularly since there was no advance notice or explanation of the pricing changes. Sean has always provided excellent service, and I want to make it clear that my disappointment is not a reflection of him. He has consistently been great to work with. However, the recent changes to your pricing model, including the separate cash and credit card pricing disclosed when I received my bill, were both unexpected and concerning. Had these changes been communicated in advance, I would have had the opportunity to make an informed decision and consider other service providers. In fact, after leaving your dealership, I contacted a competitor and learned that, for approximately what I had just paid for one oil change, I could have received three oil changes through a promotion they were offering. While I understand that pricing can change, the lack of transparency and advance communication has left me disappointed and has unfortunately influenced my decision to take my business elsewhere. I have appreciated the service Sean has provided over the years, but the significant and unexplained increase in cost, coupled with the unexpected pricing structure, has undermined my confidence in the value offered by your dealership. Had these changes been communicated clearly and transparently, my experience and decision may have been different. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration, as customers should be given clear and upfront information about pricing changes so they can make informed decisions before committing to a service.
