This started with a warranty covered service to repair the transmission shifting mechanisms on my Buick 2018 Regal. Somehow when they were fixing it they put the driver's seat back and broke the track. T the transmission shifting mechanisms on my Buick 2018 Regal. Somehow when they were fixing it they put the driver's seat back and broke the track. The service center was going to fix it. I actually have the platinum warranty also for the car which covers that item. But the seat track is not made anymore as the vehicle is discontinued and there are no spare parts anywheres. I was told to try to find the part at a parts reseller but could not find any on line. I brought the vehicle back after calling the platinum warranty company as they said they might have resources to find the part. That was not true as that warranty company later told me they were only responsible for the service authorization. I looked further and found the part on line. But just as I bought it -they claimed someone local had picked it up. So I am now left with a vehicle with a broken driver's seat. More
