Hardin County Honda

We worked with Trey when we came in on Monday and Tuesday to purchase our 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid. A few months back we came in during the winter and Trey had approached us then when we were jus to purchase our 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid. A few months back we came in during the winter and Trey had approached us then when we were just driving through the lot looking at potential vehicles once we paid off our car. Trey approached us with a big smile and offered his assistance and we said “we were just looking, not looking at buying anything today.” Trey, not being discouraged by this answer immediately followed with: “Can I at least give y’all my card, so y’all can reach out when you’re ready?” And I said “yes sir, we will reach out once we are more decided on a vehicle.” He handed us his card, told us to “stay warm, and enjoy y’all’s weekend.” Proceeded to walk back inside and didn’t pressure us into trying to make a decision then and there. Fast forward to May 1st and we found ourselves back at Hardin County Honda on the cusp of purchasing a vehicle. We pulled in and none other than Trey himself ended up greeting us once again. We proceeded to inform him that we were back and almost ready to pull the trigger on a vehicle purchase. That’s when he said that “we looked familiar.” I mentioned that we had received his card a few months ago and that we liked the fact he respected our decision on not wanting to purchase a vehicle at that point and that’s what brought us back. Trey lit up with a smile once more and said that “you have no idea how good that makes me feel.” And we began talking about what we were looking for in a CR-V model, showed us what y’all had and we test drove a white CR-V sport touring hybrid. It felt great and my girlfriend especially fell in love with the car at the end of the drive. We became talking to Trey and said that we would be back in a week with our final decision between the CR-V and a RAV4 that we both had enjoyed. After we went home Friday night I ended up asking my girlfriend what our plans were for the weekend. She snuck in “buying a car” and it didn’t register in my head until a few seconds later and I said “are you sure?” And she said “yes I’m sure… I want the CR-V.” And that was all it took. Monday came and we went back and sought out Trey to tell him the news and told him “we didn’t want any other salesperson to finish our deal.” Trey was an outstanding salesperson and an all out great guy. If any of our friends or coworkers are seeking out a new vehicle I’ll definitely point them in HCH’s direction and tell them to talk to Trey. More
