Excellent....but.. Our experience was overall great BUT we are very disappointed with the pre-sale checkup. THE EXPENSIVE BATTERY DIED IN JUST A FEW DAYS AND IT WAS SO Our experience was overall great BUT we are very disappointed with the pre-sale checkup. THE EXPENSIVE BATTERY DIED IN JUST A FEW DAYS AND IT WAS SO BAD IT WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE!!! THIS IS NOT RIGHT NOR A FAIR WAY TO PUT SOMEONE ONE THE ROAD. Sissy lives in Kingsport and the battery died in Knoxville. If the car had actually gone through a complete checkup the battery charge capacity could have been checked quickly and simply. I never dreamed a quality place like Harper would miss this. I have bought several used cars but never one with a battery that died almost immediately!! Can you (Harpers) make it right?? More

Then Joey Tipton was outstanding as our Sales Advisor. Took an educational approach which is what we wanted. Helped us choose options right for us. Then took much time to educate us about all the features. Joey set up many features (there are hundreds) to help get us started. Car was ready for delivery when promised and had all accessories installed. He was very professional and accommodating in addressing questions about the vehicle and establishing an arrangement that removed apprehension from the sales process. I was travelling from North Carolina and we came to terms with an agreement prior to the visit that resulted ultimately in the purchase of the vehicle. Mark proved to be honest and knowledgeable in his assessment of the Acura and I was very pleased with the car and the entire buying process, including my experience with Cliff, the business manager and Shane Cochran, the sales manager. I would without hesitation recommend this dealership, and would strongly encourage prospective buyers, including those from out of state, to give Harper a try. A negative experience I had previously with McDaniels Acura of Columbia, SC, in trying to come to terms with an Acura purchase, stands in stark contrast to the manner in which Harper approaches business relationships.When the time comes, Harper Acura will be the first dealership I consider when purchasing another Acura.
