Our family has purchased probably 20 cars over the years and the experience has always been daunting and stressful. After doing a year's worth of research to find the 'perfect' car I decided on the Volkswag and the experience has always been daunting and stressful. After doing a year's worth of research to find the 'perfect' car I decided on the Volkswagen Passat and then looked for dealerships through TruCar. Shortly after completing the on-line process which recommended Harper Volkswagen I got a phone call from Kimo Meheula. At first I thought "Oh no, a pushy salesman" but at the end of his message (because of course I did not answer the call) he said simply "Aloha". Having recently moved to the area from California, even though I am a southerner by birth, the familiar gentle, laid-back 'Aloha' got me hooked. I returned his call and came in for a test drive. Upon entering the showroom I was struck by the playfulness of the art, and the friendliness of Mr. Meheula. We immediately felt like we were in the right place with the right guy. We took the test drive, and took that very car home. We've already recommended the dealership to another family member who will be in a position to buy a car in a month or so and Kimo is on the lookout for the right car. On a side note- as I was looking at VW hats in the gift shop Shannon Harper came over, introduced himself and gave me not just one but BOTH hats I was looking at. I know it's not much compared to the car purchase but again, Harper Volkswagen and Kimo got me into the car I wanted, and Shannon put the icing on the cake with the hats.
