I would have to say that they are the worst dealer I have dealt with. After the sale of the car, I had a few complications so I called them back to work it out....still yet to pick up my car.....I explained dealt with. After the sale of the car, I had a few complications so I called them back to work it out....still yet to pick up my car.....I explained my problem. The next day they put through the two checks that were on hold for the downpayment. I was promised these checks amounting to $1900 would not be cashed. They did it anyway and my account was overdrawn, mind you I still did not have a car!!!! I went to the dealership demanding my money back. I also put a $100 down payment and asked that back. Asked for my paperwork and anything else with my name on it. They told me that that they couldn't do anything b/c the office was closed. I demanded they return the $100 to my cc and they charged it again!!!!!! I have calls into the attorney general, bbb and the owner of the company. I would never recommend going there. After the sale they could care less. More
I have read and heard mixed reviews about this dealership, so it should be no surprise that i was a little apprehensive...even though i was recommended through a refferrel. I had a trade in and w dealership, so it should be no surprise that i was a little apprehensive...even though i was recommended through a refferrel. I had a trade in and wanted to buy a new car. I sat down with Greg (salesman) and went over prices, because i was comparitive shopping and knew exactly what i wanted. Greg asked a few simple questions and brought Jason (sales manager) over and we worked out a number that i was quite impressed with. It seemed too good, and walked away telling them they would hear from me tomorrow. The next morning i called and told Jason we had a deal, i would be there later in the evening. I arrived, the paperwork had ALREADY drawn up with the EXACT numbers we had talked about...NO hidden fees. It was so painless. It was the best car buying experience i have ever had, best "sales" experience i had ever had. I would HIGHLY RECCOMMEND this dealership to ANYONE, especially GREG and JASON. I cant say how my experience would have been without those two GREAT guys working with me. My experience deserves an A+++++++++++++!! More
Once the sale is made they dont return your calls unless they feel the deal is in jeopardy. I dont need lies, I need a respectible dealer that is truthful and knowledgeable about the product. Harr Toyota, has successfully unsold me on the Camry! or for that matter any Toyota product. More
Upon reading the review of cubeiswmi, I have to concur. I was looking for a used Taurus back in 1997 and went to Harr. I found one that I liked and they insisted on a $200 deposit. Later that day, I foun I was looking for a used Taurus back in 1997 and went to Harr. I found one that I liked and they insisted on a $200 deposit. Later that day, I found the same car for a great price at Saturn of Worcester and ended up buying it there. When I went back to Harr, they refused to give me my deposit back. They denied that I'd even given it to them. When I showed them the receipt, they said that it was non-refundable (even though the paperwork clearly stated that it is refundable). I argued and threatened and was on the verge of filing a small claims suit when I finally received a check for $200 in the mail (after 2 1/2 months!!). Bottom line: GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The prices suck and the tactics are way below reproach. More
I am currently in the military and home from training and needed a car in a bad way. I looked around for a specific used car in my tri state area, connecticut, mass, and Rhode Island. I found the car at ha needed a car in a bad way. I looked around for a specific used car in my tri state area, connecticut, mass, and Rhode Island. I found the car at harr toyota in mass and told the sales person that i would be up as soon as possible seeing as though i didn't want the car to get away. When i was there they said they needed $200 to hold the car and that when the deal was complete they would refund my $200. I was apprehensive with this because i really couldn't afford to give up the money but since Jason assured me that i would receive it back the next day when the sale was complete i agreed to do it. Well now the sale is done and they say that they though the $200 was part of the deal when i specifically told them it wasn't and have a friend that was my ride at the time as a witness. Also when they were writing up the paperwork i saw that they had the $200 in there and i corrected them at that time that the $200 was not part of the deal and that it was only used to secure the car while i was to get insurance and registration straitened out.
