My lease was expecting in a month and I wanted to understand my opti The initial intent of my visit to the Hartford Toyota dealership was exploratory. My lease was expecting in a month and I wanted to understand my options. Dwight Golden did an excellent job of showing me new vehicle options and explaining the pricing. He was determined that we would come to an agreement before I left the dealership. Despite being a fair amount apart on price, Dwight asked if I would be willing to spend 5 minutes with his manager. I agreed. The three of us sat down and discussed some options. To make a long story short, we were able to negotiate a deal that got me into the vehicle that I preferred fairly close to the price I was willing to pay. What impressed me most was his belief that we could make that deal somehow. Dwight was patient, courteous, tactful and relentless without being pushy. He represents Hartford Toyota and Toyota well. They guy was nice, honest and helpful, the rest of the staff was as well. We'll see down the road how the service dept and upkeep on the car pans out, and if it's not up to par, I have no issues roasting them in public reviews/comments such as this. But overall it was a good, easy, non pressure time dealing with everyone while getting this car. The car is great as well. Even after we picked up the car and found a minor issue, Dave made sure that the issue was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. Mike Wells listened to our concerns regarding the issue and took care of the issue with urgency even though it was minor. I was sure they would take care of the issue but was afraid they would treat us as fussy and petty, but that could not have been further from how they treated us. Everyone made us feel like a valued customer. More
