Terrible, terrible experience We test drove a 2006 Nissan Xterra on Thursday. My husband spoke to Mr. Gabriel Ortiz on Saturday evening--Halloween, as it happened. My husband made an offer on the car, and Gabriel said he would speak to his manager. The manager came back with a counteroffer, and my husband said he would get back to him. He left a message on Sunday saying he would buy the truck for the amount offered by the sales manager. Monday my husband called to find out when he should bring in the check, and Mr. Ortiz said, "Oh--we sold that truck Saturday." Really? On Halloween? And shouldn't you have mentioned there was an offer on it? Terrible experience. More

The entire staff at Hartford Toyota was AWESOME! I recently purchased a Rav4 and could not be happier at Hartford Toyota. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by David Goduti. From start to finish it was magical. Not many times do you go to a dealership and get treated like a $1,000.000 bucks! David took the time to meet my needs and teach me about all the new toys in my Rav4. My next step was to meet with finance. No one likes this part, but this is where I met Gloria Fernandez. She is truly a diamond in the rough. Totally relaxed while signing all the dreaded paperwork, especially with that cool IPAD. She made it a great experience. Lastly I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Lombardo. He checked to make sure his staff did their job. After I hunted for my car through many CT dealerships, I found Tina + Jill helpful in getting the Car Fax and info on a Used Certified Vehicle via phone and email. They were on top of things. Quick + Fast Response. I told them I didn't want to waste my time driving out to check the car if the car smelled like smoke. No Problem. They said they would have a NON Smoker check it out and get back to me. Within a couple of hours within the same day, they said no smoke smell. I drive in and was introduced to Guy. He has been doing this for 12 years which in auto sales mean's "he's good at it". Through the process, I got to find out why he is good. You see.... I did my research on this car and have gained more knowledge from dealership hopping along the way. My knowledge helped me gauge his integrity. He passed with flying colors. I grilled him on everything I could think of and he answered with direct eye contact without any hesitation. You can tell that he loves what he does, because he'll go out of his way to show extra features that can be missed in a good quality test drive. I would also like to acknowledge that when he says he'll do it, he will. He went out of his way to make me happy more than once. He is a man of integrity and a man of his word. He's a good GUY.
