We did our homework in researching for a used Toyota Prius while Toyota Hartford's internet posted price is at the averaging level in the region. The quality of their service and sales people were really impressed us. We were pleased meeting with Mr. Luis Gillen as our sales man. The whole process from was unfolded in a clear, professional way. No pressure! His manager Louis' support also impressed us. In the end Toyota Hartford had us as one of their many happy customers. I went to Hartford Toyota (and many other dealerships) looking for a new car to lease. As a first time new car buyer, I was definitely looking for the best value and service I could find. When I went in the first time, I was generally just looking to see what the new Corolla was like and what I could get in my price range. Jim Palumbo helped me, walked me through the whole vehicle and then showed me the service department and entire dealership, showing me what I get beyond the car. I walked out the first day only because I was looking to see what other cars and dealerships had to offer. I came back looking to purchase but was still in between the Corolla and a couple of other vehicles. Jim and sales manager Andrew worked with me to get me a great deal and exactly what I needed in a car. I didn't feel any pressure like I did from other dealerships that I visited and ended up getting the new Corolla on my second visit. They walked me through everything and got the car ready for me before I left. I definitely would recommend this dealership because not only do you get the great value of a Toyota but the sales staff all made it a seamless and stress free experience for me. More

Car salesman Andrew is "top shelf". I never regarded car shopping as a pleasurable expierience - But Andrew certainly rectified that. Very courteous, helpful, & informative. I was five months pregnant when i decided to upgrade from my corolla to an SUV. I went to hartford toyota because four years prior i bought the corolla from them and had a very good experience. The sales guy was friendly, we talked, laughed threw around some numbers until we decided at a good trade in price for my corolla. We test drove the car, everything looked and sounded good and so I decided to buy. I was supposed to pick up the car the following Monday but never got a call from the store. When i called, the sales guy told me it's not ready and I should come in the next day. I went on my lunch break from work the next day expecting the paperwork and the car to be ready. I sat there for two hours before seeing the finance guy. When i finally saw him to sign the paperwork, i realized that my last name was spelled wrong on the form. It took him forever to fix it, print it out and then for me to sign again. Then i realized that my name was spelled wrong on all the forms. After being there for more that two hours, i could not be bothered anymore and just ignored it. After signing all the paperwork, i had to wait for someone to put the plates on the car. I'm grateful that my job is flexible because i was gone for more than three hours. Two days later i realized that the six cd changer was not working so i called and was told that they would fix it. then i got a call from the sales manager saying that they will pay half of the cost and i should pay the other half. After a long back and forth with the rude sales manager, my husband and i decided to call the owner. Less than ten minutes later, the sales manager called back saying that they will absorb the cost of the new cd player. About a month ago we took the car for an oil change and found out that there was a recall on that make and model three months before i bought the car. It broke my heart to know that the heartless people at hartford toyota would sell a faulty car to a pregnant woman. More
