I had a very positive experience with Mr. Root. He came across as knowledgeable, relaxed, engaged and as a advocate for the buyer. I had two other experiences with local dealerships both wer Root. The first Toyota dealership in Enfield indicated I could look at cars in their website to find out information about the cars available. The second Toyota dealership in Manchester indicated they did not have new RAV4s and told me all the reasons why I could not get a new one. I heard the female manager say loudly, “sell her an Avalon!” When I called the Hartford dealership the first person I spoke to said they did not have any at the dealership, but more were coming. He also said, “Hey have you driven a RAV4? Why don’t you come down and take a spin in one of our used ones to see how it feels!” His super positive attitude made me feel good about the car choice and about the dealership. I did not want to buy a car this year due to gas prices and the overall cost of vehicles. However, I did not have a choice. I am so thankful Hartford Toyota made me FEEL good about the purchase and about the dealership where I will be taking the car for future service. Many thanks to the whole team. More

Do not trust the service department. Left my front wheel lug nut loose. Almost had a fatal accident. I was never compensated as I promised.
