Alan went above and beyond with his customer service giving us extra technology that we had never dreamed of having in our car. The next day Alan had us back to the dealership to introduce us to the service department and schedule my first oil change appointment so that I wouldn't have to worry about it in the future. We needed to replace our 20 year old Ford that finally gave out. We needed to find a car we could afford and had a very limited budget. I did a lot of research on dealer websites and contacted at least 15 different dealers. Most of these experiences had all the hallmarks of why people have a negative perception of car sales people. Than I found the Bill Jacobs website and since we live in Joliet, I was hoping to find a trustworthy local dealer. I placed a call and got Dan McCarthy on the phone. He carefully listened to the very specific parameters as to mpg and monthly payment we could afford. His attitude from the beginning was welcoming and helpful. He suggested running my credit to find out what would be workable, so we did that, and he called back in a short time with a specific car in mind that would fit my budget and mpg parameters. When we arrived, the car was waiting for a test drive. This car turned out to be perfect for us and Dan made the entire experience easy. I can honestly say that this was the most impressive experience I have ever had with a car dealership. Most importantly it was Dan's professionalism that got us in the door and he is a great asset to the organization. More
Quan helped us as much as possible and was very friendly. He was funny and light hearted. In the end we got a deal very close to what we wanted. I would go back and have Quan help us again. Jennifer was the best. My husband and I was driving my work car which was a 2001 Buick no one came running to us when we pulled up and got out and started looking at new Camero's. I said to my husband lets go but I have to go the restroom first. I walked into the used car side not knowing that was the side. I saw a girl and said can anyone help me. From then on it was great. For all your other car sales,man that by passed me. I bought that car in 5 minutes because Jennifer was the most friendliest non car artist you had . I don't buy shoes I buy a new car every year. Trust me I will go to Jennifer.and by the way no trade in and no loan you have her on the wrong side. I saw the gal on the new car side and she don't hold a stick to Jennifer :) More

I spent a considerable amount of time trying to choose a dealership and came upon this website. Bill Jacobs Mazda in Joliet was relatively close to where I lived and had the 2013 Mazda CX5 Sport in Blue th dealership and came upon this website. Bill Jacobs Mazda in Joliet was relatively close to where I lived and had the 2013 Mazda CX5 Sport in Blue that I wanted. The dealership also had one of the highest overall reviews. I also reviewed the salesman on the site and decided to go with Dan McCarthy and I'm very glad I did. He was very personable and genuine. I called to arrange a testdrive and it was there waiting for me. He went over the features of the car during the testdrive and wasn't overbearing at all. After the drive, we started crunching numbers and it was very straightforward. My wife who was with me was curious about the next model up and after some momements of bickering (between wife and I) and more crunching of numbers, I ended up going with a 2013 Touring in Gray. Big sacrifice. I really liked the blue. Dan this whole time was very patient and did not rush us. He even made some popcorn for us as our bickering was probably very amusing to him. A few days later we came back and test drove the Touring and we purchased it. I must say that the gentleman in finance (jim?) was also a very straight shooter. He explained everything to us so my wife and I understood. The selling of the extended warrenties and other policies were very to the point and we said yes or no not interested and that was it...he moved on with the paperwork. The overall experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend Dan as your salesman. He's also a family man which in my opinion helps when dealing with people who have families of their own. By the way, the Touring CX5 is great. The back up camera I can live without...if only I had the car in Blue..plenty of 2014 models in Blue but not many for 2013. More
