I was in the process of buying my first new car the past couple of months. I was incredibly close to just throwing my hands up and buying a cheap, used car. I’m not disappointed with this dealership But I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH SUBARU corporate because I was told that my wheel bearings were defective due to road conditions and conditions causing corrosion. With over 100k on my car, something is bound to go bad. A CEL came on , brought it Hawk Subaru when I was able to. They checked it out and found my O2 Sensors were faulty. I originally had purchased a Subaru Legacy from another dealer. Since it was en-route and I had been shopping around for a new car, went to Hawk Subaru in Plainfield. Needless to say that I could have save dealer. Since it was en-route and I had been shopping around for a new car, went to Hawk Subaru in Plainfield. Needless to say that I could have saved myself time and back and forth with sales, by just going to Hawk. I had my new car in less than an hour (paperwork) and the car I wanted in a couple of hours (brought from another dealer). As for service, you could not ask for a better service department. Everyone is extremely helpful, courteous and respectful. Especially Luis F., you could not ask for better car service. If you need to buy or service your Subaru, go to HAWK SUBARU! More
