The purchase was a bit challenging to say the least. When we arrived at the dealer we had a specific truck we where looking for. We asked for the two salesman that where highly recommended and both where not we arrived at the dealer we had a specific truck we where looking for. We asked for the two salesman that where highly recommended and both where not there at the time and we were given to Kayla Wagner and the adventure began. After sitting down with Kayla and talking for a bit it became very apparent she was not very aware of the trims and packages the Tacoma's came with. I told her a specific Model, Trim, Color, and Package we where interested in and even four stock numbers that looked to fit my requirements. After Kayla looked this over, and seemed to have a difficult time looking up stock numbers she directed us to go outside and see what I thought would be some trucks I had asked about. When we got out to the Tacoma's she brought us to a Tacoma, in the correct trim, but wrong color, packages, etc. I tried to explain to her again what we where looking for and she brought us back inside to talk to another salesman and explained wrongly that we where looking for a base model. After much difficult deliberating, and me having to educate her about Toyota's offerings we found a truck that almost was what we where looking for. Once we decided on the truck things took hours. I understand buying a vehicle can take some time, but there was times when she was messing on her phone, and when she dropped the card reader she took about 5-10 minutes trying to put it back together when we waited. Overall, Kayla needs to pay attention to what the customer, paying cash, is asking for. Maybe take notes or something, and then be present with the customer. There were many times we had to repeat ourselves. Luckily Mr. Valdez was exceptional finishing up the paperwork. The only other thing that was disappointing was that Kayla told us we would get a call in a couple days to schedule getting our accessories installed. A week later and we still have not received any calls. Overall, I had high expectations of this dealership and now I wish I would have gone down to Titus Will in Tacoma as it also has a lifetime powertrain warranty. Live and learn. More
