This was the easiest and best interaction that I have had with leasing a new car. My salesperson was Dan and we had kept in touch for weeks until I was ready to lease the Nautilus. He was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the car. He got my approval for financing done within an hour of me leaving a deposit. The gentleman that did the paperwork for the lease was also very easy to work with. The dealership is clean and comfortable. Dan followed up with me 2 days after I brought the car home. I was at Hempstead Ford for service. I entered the showroom to look at the new vehicles. Doug entered the showroom from the parking lot complaining to someone about a driver on Franklin I entered the showroom to look at the new vehicles. Doug entered the showroom from the parking lot complaining to someone about a driver on Franklin Avenue driving slow. He then proceeded to ask me what I was doing in the showroom. To which I replied I’m looking at the new vehicles. He then very aggressively told me to leave and the showroom was not open until 9am. I entered through the door from service area which was unlocked. He kept telling me “you have to go” repeatedly and aggressively. I replied “ you should lock the door next time” , I became agitated at his aggressiveness towards me (a customer) and I replied “this is a great way to treat a customer” … he then replied by saying “you have to leave now and I’m going to get your car out of here”. He proceeded to go to the service area to try and have my car taken out of service. Unfortunately, for him, the service was already performed in the car is ready. I met him again by the service advisor area and asked him who he was to which he stated I am the owner of the dealership. I came to find out. He is only the general manager. Realizing my car was already done. He became more agitated and told me to go F myself. I was so shocked I couldn’t even believe what was happening. I then picked up my car and left however, I have contacted the dealership to try and speak to the owner. Hopefully no one else has to be treated this way by Doug completely unacceptable unprofessional. I am on my third lease with Hempstead Ford and cannot believe this is the way I was treated More
