Check engine light came on and the car didn't want to start, so I called the dealership. They got me an appt the next morning and I dropped the car off. I get a call a couple of hours later and Tyreese tells me I need a fuel pump (which would require changing the spark plugs and a fuel system flush), the timing belt replaced, the positive battery cable was bad and my right brake light was out; the quoted price for these fixes was $2500! After I scraped myself off the floor and asked him how much just to do the fuel pump, he says $900! A friend of mine pointed me to her mechanic that they have used for years and HE tells me the only thing they did not lie about was the fuel pump, which he fixed for $340. I was actually warned not to go to this dealership, but the other one had horrible reviews and Henderson's weren't too bad. Definitely will not recommend this dealership. More
I dragged my feet for a while when realizing I needed a new car. My experiences at car dealerships have usually been unpleasant , to say the least. I am a previous Hyundai Elantra owner of 12 years, and after scouring the Consumer Report, decided to stay with Hyundai. When I met Atiq I expected the "hard sell" ,not so. He was charming and eager, but did not push, and I did indeed "bang the gong". He made my purchase a pleasurable experience, he certainly knew his stuff and followed up with a hand written thank you card, which I really appreciated. I love my car, and I know that I, and Hyundai, will take good care of it. Thank You Ann Kaiser More
I had the great fortune of driving into Henderson Hyundia a few days ago with the intention of just looking at SUV's to compare theirs to a competitors. As I roamed the lot I was greeted by a young man named a few days ago with the intention of just looking at SUV's to compare theirs to a competitors. As I roamed the lot I was greeted by a young man named John Tutino Jr. Remembering how pushy and demanding a car salesman can be I admit I had my shields up. I remember how it used to be. I asked John the price of a vehicle on the lot, he told me, then ask what I was looking for and if he could help me. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me several SUV's. John never pushed or made me feel like he was about to hog tie me and drag me into the show room to sign on a dotted line and give up my first born. John showed me exactly what I was asking to see without trying to guide me to something for more money. I chose one I liked and took it for a test drive and again John didn't try to sell me only explain to me some of the options and features of the SUV. This was a two year old Santa Fe with 12,000 miles and looked new. When we got back to the dealership John had my car appraised. They gave me top dollar for my trade in and I agreed to purchase the Santa Fe. My point here is I was never pressured by John or the Henderson Hyundia staff but just the opposite. I was treated as if I was the only customer in the show room even though there were 7 tables full of customers. As I am re-entering the real estate business this car is perfect and Henderson Hyundia has thrown in free car washes for the life of my car. WooHoo!!! I was treated well from the moment I arrived at this dealership. Jim, the salesperson, was friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble, and I felt very comfortable with him. The sales team was wonderful, the service team was wonderful. The Finance Team are scam artists. Nicholas tricked me into signing for maintenance packages I clearly told him I DID NOT want. It took me more than 8 weeks, 2 extra visits, W0 phone calls which resulted in using almost an hour and a half of my cell phone minutes (they kept avoiding me by placing me on hold for long periods of time.) Lies galore. I asked for Nicholas's boss after he was rude to me, Was told it was Mark. Mark told me he would cancel it and it would be deducted from my balance due within 30 days. On the 31st day I called and asked for Mark's boss. I was given Chris who told me first that Mark was wrong and it would take 90 to 120 days, and then when I insisted he find the paperwork he finally came back and said it would be done in 10 working days. In 10 working days A PORTION of the money was taken back. Another phone call to Hyundai Finance who said it wasn't their problem, another phone call to the Warranty company who told me they had to take $75.00 for administrative fees (to cancel a warranty I never asked for). Another phone call to Henderson. this time talked to Vito who was going to look into it and call me back the next day. Now I get a call from Mark, V7ry indignantly insisting that there is now way they will give me the $75.00 and $137.00 in taxes back. I told him I didn't want to talk to him, I wanted to talk to his boss Chris and he told me Chris doesn't talk to anybody. Even though I clearly spoke with Chris, or did the fellow on the phone lie also? I have been given a run-around since I bought my new car on March 5 and Henderson Hyundai still owes me $213.12. DO NOT DEAL WITH HENDERSON HYUNDAI FINANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

I am nearly 80 years young and over the years have purchased many vehicles. My buying experience here was the absolute best of all in that it was not trying or pressured. I say "almost enjoyable" because I hate spending money; however, in this case, I was pleasantly surprised. I purchased an EQUUS (outstanding car) from Mr. Nolan Hall (a terrific and dynamic salesman) who went out of his way to accommodate me. Even coming to my house to demonstrate all the nuances of the many options that were standard in my new car. Many of these options could have cost major dollars but were included in the price. His attentions to a customer after the sale were a revelation and very welcome. I am confident that I can rely on him and the rest of the "team" at the Hyundai Superstore. All in all, great auto purchasing from this dealer and the salesperson, Mr. Hall. I have already recommended this dealership and Mr. Hall to several of my friends and will continue to do so. More
