Note that is is not possible to provide 0 stars. Ive come to this business for years, but had a dangerous experience while coming for service this month (8/26). I believe the Dealership violated the Ive come to this business for years, but had a dangerous experience while coming for service this month (8/26). I believe the Dealership violated the North Carolina Motor Vehicle Repair Act, when they installed a different set of tires on my car then we had discussed in the estimate in the morning. I was never notified and I was certainly never asked to approve a different cheaper set of tires. The service advisor decided himself that’s what I should have installed. Even when I picked the car up, I was not informed there were different tires on the car than agreed. They asked me to pay online as well to speed up the process. If you’ve had a similar experience know you can submit a compliant to the North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Ultimately should I have checked, yes. But the reason I’ve gone to Hendrick in the past is because I trusted the team. Why would you pay the higher prices at Hendrick if you have to check behind them. I can’t confirm they actually changed the oil, and you have to wait for hours for any service to be completed. Know your rights, look up your protections in NC law. Take it from me walk out with a copy of your estimate, or go somewhere you don’t have to double check their work. They’re hoping you don’t. No attorney required, but it’s important to document as much as possible. More
