We bought TWO cars from James Conley in the past two weeks. He was there for us with any questions we had and offered any and all information about the cars we were looking at. He pulled the car faxes out without us asking on the vehicles we liked, to show us all possible information about the cars which is very important to know these days. Each was positive information that made us feel more comfortable on buying. He explained all the details page for page. OTher dealers we went to stayed away from that conversation and changed the subject right away. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. Grace Lawrence was awesome to deal with. She is super friendly and is out there to take care of you and to look for the best deal for you. I have dealt with Grace in the past and I will continue to go to her for all our car purchases in the future. I have total trust in Grace that she would do the best for us and she did. I love my 2006 Honda Accord and my son Jeremy loves his Pacifa and we want to thank you James Conley and Grace Lawrence for working with us on our car purchases. From our first encounter with Bryan Smith we were very impressed with his knowledge of the vehicle we were interested in as we could have asked for. He was not pushy but was committed to making the deal work. Tim Crowder, the finance manager, was very knowledgeable and helpful through the paperwork of obtaining financing for our new Pilot. Yes there is a lot of paperwork and forms to fill out; but Mike was courteous, professional and friendly giving me the details and the required information. Customer care is the order of the day at this dealership starting when you call their 800 number. All the paperwork was completed and indicators were posted for my son to sign. The car was delivered with only one small isue, the passenger floormat was missing; but it was not a problem. Would I buy my next car from this dealership> You bet I will. I came into Honda Cars of Hickory looking to buy a used Accord, but nothing quite fit. Jay was very patient he continued to look for cars he thought I may be interested in, coming in on his day off hoping Accord, but nothing quite fit. Jay was very patient he continued to look for cars he thought I may be interested in, coming in on his day off hoping he had found a car for me. After looking around the lot I fell in love with a black 2012 Civic EX. I didn't think it was even possible to get a deal worked out with a price and payment I was comfortable with, but Jay was determined (more so than myself) that I was going home in that car. He goes against all car salemen stereotypes. He made the car buying experience (something I was very afraid of) unstressful. It was a pleasure working with him, although I felt he was working for me. I would recommend Honda Cars Of Hickory and Jay Brown to everyone. More
My wife and I were looking for a new car, and had decided on the Honda Pilot. We had contacted multiple dealers shopping for price. We had almost made our decision to purchase from a dealer in South Caroli on the Honda Pilot. We had contacted multiple dealers shopping for price. We had almost made our decision to purchase from a dealer in South Carolina, but in a last attempt to try and get a better price, contacted Honda Cars of Hickory via email late on a Friday evening. We received a reply from Mark Buchanan expressing a desire to "earn" our business. I didn't expect to get a reply until Monday, but as it turned out, we were able to work out the deal through out the weekend, and I actually committed to buy on Monday. Buying a new vehicle is such a stressful event, but if I had to use one word to describe the process of buying a car from Honda Cars of Hickory, I would have to say STRESSLESS. The whole process was great, negotiating the price with Mark and Derrick, agreeing to purchase, finalizing the financing with Grace, and having the Pilot delivered to me in Asheville. I would highly recommend Honda Cars of Hickory, if nothing else, to give them a chance to "earn" your business....I bet they will. More
