My Recent Visit to Hendrick Honda I went in for my normal oil change & tire rotation. Soon after, Kristi Richards called me to her desk to explain the service tech had found 6 or 7 i I went in for my normal oil change & tire rotation. Soon after, Kristi Richards called me to her desk to explain the service tech had found 6 or 7 issues. About 3 were very timely, and the others could wait awhile. Kristi let me make up my own mind about which issues I wanted worked on. I told her I had a haircut appointment at 2 PM. She advised they would be finished by then. I agreed to have all issues taken care of so I wouldn't have to worry. They had me done in time for me to make my haircut appointment! Kristi even checked out my warranty plan I had purchased to find which of these issues would be covered. I appreciated that! More

When I bought the car in Feb, I paid for nitrogen in the tires although it was not showing in the system and it wasn't clear that I had it in the tires as I did not have "green" caps. Rather than make me go home and find my purchase paperwork, he evacuated the air and filled with nitrogen. Service was timely and took exactly the amount of time they stated in the beginning. Hendricks Honda personnel are great people. I purchased my Honda Civic car way back October 2003 and returned last November 25 and got a brand new Hobda CRV. We kept on coming back to Hendricks I purchased my Honda Civic car way back October 2003 and returned last November 25 and got a brand new Hobda CRV. We kept on coming back to Hendricks Honda because they listen to customers need. I've been shopping with other dealerships but Honda Hendricks personnel are the easiest people to deal with. They are so helpful and friendly. I told them this is the car that I need and they over deliver it! I need White Honda CRV AWD 2015 but I got White Honda CRV AWD 2016 at the same price I offered! Isn't that so great? Incomparable! What I just don't like is buying a car really a time consuming because 6 hours & more are too much of waiting! More

To begin, in my estimation, Anthony Watkins is the Best Automotive Sales Consultant that I have had the pleasure to work with when purchasing a new ca To begin, in my estimation, Anthony Watkins is the Best Automotive Sales Consultant that I have had the pleasure to work with when purchasing a new car. Anthony & his partner Ricky's professionalism, courteousness, and genuine caring of my concerns were the only reasons that I completed the sale at this Honda dealership. As a customer service manager myself, Anthony demonstrated the traits of a top-level sales consultant that I look for - he is outgoing, caring, effectively identifies customer needs, patient, immediately likeable, confident, and focused on making the sale a great experience. So, why three stars and not five? Two reasons - the finance department & the floor manager. The finance department, as you would expect, tried to sell me an extended warranty. I sometimes buy one and sometimes not depending on the circumstances. So, the finance person quotes me $2300 for a 7yr/100mi/$0 deductible warranty on a new Honda Civic. I responded that I can buy a Honda Care warranty from any Honda dealer and would shop around first. I was told that $2300 was the lowest possible price any dealer would offer and that the price was "good for today only"... a stereotypical sales tactic that I found disappointing and undignified. Later that day, I received two Honda Care quotes from other dealers - one for $1015 & one for $810! When confronting the finance consultant with that information, I received the response - "Oh, I quoted our dealership extended warranty and not Honda Care". A weak excuse since I told her that I was shopping around for a "Honda Care" warranty and not a dealer warranty. How could another dealer quote Hendrick's warranty anyway? So, one star off for that experience. The Floor Manager provided an experience that was typical (in a negative way) when closing the deal. By the end, I felt used, abused, and that squeezing every last dollar out of me was the overriding short term objective -- rather than maintaining and further building a relationship (I have a choices concerning who services the car). To make matters worse, this manager on a different day "tried" to fix the finance department's earlier warranty "oversight" by offering me a real Honda Care warranty for $195 more than what I was already quoted from another dealership! An injury added to the insult... What manager attempts to fix a problem by trying to overcharge an annoyed customer? Selling the warranty at dealer cost would have gone a long way to repairing this experience. Again, short term profits over customer satisfaction. Another star lost. Oh, did I mention that I bought two other Honda's from this same dealership over the years with no problems? Customer loyalty and word-of-mouth recommendations make a company successful -- or maybe, Hendricks is just too big to care now? . More
