Had a superb experience working with Dakota Buckey to purchase a new vehicle. From the get-go Dakota was attentive and understanding of what I needed. We went through the vehicle I chose from A-Z. The saleswoman, Adair, was wonderful…and pleasant. The men who run this location, delivered one of the worst experiences and series of customer service decisions I’ve encountered: Nate Pearson, Justin L, the General Manager Brian M are employees I would highly recommend staying away from. Mistakes and errors are made all the time. I was not concerned with the fact that they made a series of paperwork errors and missteps (that happens all the time….hopefully, “common sense” mature professionals will just be solution focused and ‘do the next right thing,’….but that did not happen when Brian, Justin, and Nate were making decisions. I put down a 1k down payment, reserved the car…as it was scheduled to arrive at dealership 6/17. The financials, lease agreement….was arranged prior to the day i could pick up the car. After I arrived to pick up my new leased vehicle (sales manager Nate Pearson left me a voicemail, and text messages….. confirming my car was ready for pick up or delivery to me….but, everything was done and ready to drive away). After work, I got a ride to Hendrick Honda, to pick up my new car that Nate said was ready for pick up. I got their, and was getting ready to drive away WITH THE CAR….but, at the last minute…..the dealership had not completed all the paperwork they thought they did. There were many solutions in front of us….to work this out. However, the “solutions” and treatment of me from that point…..was horrific. Nate, Justin and Brian….were the most self-fish, lack of ownership…and inconsiderate staff experiences and attempts I have experienced in a long time. It was almost like i was on candid camera, their behavior was so poor. And, a minor…but..telling detail…..At the end of the long evening, Nate didnt even know my correct first name..that i had been dealing with him for many days…. I ended up having to leave the dealership with my family coming back out to pick me up (their mistakes prevented me from driving away in my car….and, they could not even get me a ride back home!). The next day, Nate, Justin and Brian’s poor decisions and treatment persisted. It was a very sad and unfortunate experience. I know there are wonderful people at Hendricks. I have had many pleasant encounters with other Hendricks entities. I would highly recommend staying away from Hendrick Honda. PS: and, at the end of the evening and unpleasant experience, as I was waiting outside the dealership for my ride to come and pick me up—-a Hendrick Honda salesman, who was a bystander to the unpleasant experiences all that evening, came outside….attempting to upsell me on another car….and came out and handed me information and a financial resource….to buy another car from Hendrick Honda. So poor, it was so bad i really thought it was a prank! More

I want to give a shout out to Dakota! He went above and beyond in his attempts to find me a new car. He did everything in is power to make sure my needs were met. They always take care of me when I come into their store. Adair Griffin greeted me today and made sure I stayed cool in the hot weather and even pulled up cars right to the door for me to look at ! Like many other people, myself included. .. I have purchased many new and used vehicles over the last 45 years or so and always dreaded the process of walking into a dealership like yours and .. I have purchased many new and used vehicles over the last 45 years or so and always dreaded the process of walking into a dealership like yours and ending up many hours later wondering what the xxxx did I just do? I was in need of replacing the wife's car and found a beautiful 2019 Honda Accord online at your place of business. I made the inquiry for a test drive and showed up the next afternoon. It was a Sunday, just a few weeks ago. I arrived early before you opened at one, so I could take a look at the vehicle without being pounced on as soon as I got there. I liked it and took a seat out front waiting for my contact. Just a few minutes later, a gentleman walked up and asked if he could help me. Said his name was Tanner Fisher. I knew right away we had something in common. To make a long story short, I felt no pressure whatsoever which was a relief. He fetched the keys, we got in it, and he explained every single feature during the trip around the block and we came back and made the deal. Then it was time to go into the finance office. Oh boy, this is where the fun ends I thought. I was already prepared to answer no, no, no and no. That didn't happen, Joe Gamati was one cool dude. He actually listened to me and took his time going over everything. No wham bam thank you mam with him. I actually walked out of there considering him a friend. Wow. That never happened before. The wife loved the car. Tanner even put a big, red bow on top and made our picture and went over everything again with her and set up the cell phone for use. So, I got to thinking. I went back in there the following week and bought a 2017 CRV. This time I dealt with a young dude with huge muscular arms that I didn't want to tick off. Garrett Hodgson was the name, and he managed to impress me again with the no pressure, what would I like to happen attitude. He was just as cool as Tanner and Joe. Bottom line is, I've had a couple of weeks to absorb everything and felt compelled to do something else I've never done before, take the time to really compliment a car dealer for their honesty and call out several folks in your organization who need to be mentioned for an outstanding experience!
